How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Great location. But worn down hotel. Bed sheets were’nt crisp and clean. Every thing just felt worn down. Bathroom was clean and new though

Room ( very tight space ) typical small boutique style. Would stay again for the convenience of the location.

Very small room, the bathroom was abit dirty (mould in the shower) and the toilet needed to be scrubbed.
Comfortable bed, we only stayed one night to hope on the train and go elsewhere.

Breakfast was only sweet, but that's just our personal preference since we usually have more substantial continental breakfasts in the morning. Fortunately, there are plenty of cafés nearby where you can have breakfast. The elevator is very small, but it’s great that there is one—it’s very convenient. The rooms are also small, making it a bit challenging to fit yourself and your suitcases. The bathroom was cold, and ours had a window facing outside. However, I understand that small rooms and compact spaces are typical features of Parisian accommodations.
The hotel's location is fantastic! The area is full of great restaurants to choose from, and the metro is within walking distance. Many attractions are also easily accessible on foot, with Sainte-Chapelle just around the corner. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive—they sent us the entrance code in advance, provided an umbrella, and offered luggage storage, which was very convenient. Everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended.

The location was perfect, the neighborgood has lots of restaurantes and cafés, close to the RER that goes to the airport and other lines. The staff was friendly, especially Bil, that was incredible gentle and helped us when our flight was canceled, thank you Bil for everything :)

It was very small actually but we didn’t really mind that. The elevator was extreme small and was a little scary haha. We didn’t really think that the breakfast was worth the money. It had very few options. And only sweet options and we would have also liked to have savoury options as well.
The location was very good. The metro station is a one minute walk from the hotel and there are also plenty bus stops around. The room was clean and nice.

Rooms are smaller than small there is no place to open bags. In same time 2 people cannot move in the room.
Location is very good. Safe and close to public transportation.

The property is in a really great area. While the rooms are small they are very well done. We had everything we needed for our stay. We were very impressed by the staff. One of the mornings we came down for breakfast near the end of the time frame and were informed someone else must have eaten ours, so the woman working went out and bought us our breakfast on the spot to make sure we received it as it was included in our reservation.

The room is very small - I guess normal for Paris- there are not enough electric outlets (only one so you must choose what to charge: phone or iPad or computer). The elevator is ridiculously small
it has easy access and self check in. The location is absolutely perfect
