Beautiful, family run hotel with individual rooms in the heart of the Haut Medic area. Very convenient for exploring the area and right next to Château Baron Pichon. Pascale was a superb and thoughtful hostess. Couldn’t have been better.

We loved our stay here - it’s a beautiful house that is so carefully decorated and comfortable. I’ve stayed at many guesthouses in Europe and my wife and I have never experienced a host so helpful and kind as Pascale. She made the most incredible breakfast of homemade and fresh foods that you get to choose the night before (very good idea!). Her breakfast was 10x better than what we could get at any restaurant. We booked the room quite late so we didn’t get dinner with her but heard from other guests that it was the best duck they have ever eaten. Also, she is so invested that her guests have a good experience in the city - she makes lots of suggestions and calls and massages reservations for you. It’s really such a great experience! I can’t recommend it enough! ❤️

Nothing stood out

This was a lovely place to stop in the centre of vine land. It was a perfect place for cyclists with a secure shed to keep our bicycles. The hosts were extremely welcoming and the room large, airy and comfortable. The garden was a great place to relax and dip in the pool. Breakfast was generous and varied.

Arrived after long drive from St Malo. Had a friendly, efficient welcome and were made to feel at home. Stayed 2 nights. Thoroughly relaxing. Excellent breakfast with extensive choice. Home made jam, yoghurt, muesli and fantastic fruit salad. Good location, quiet with a pretty garden and great parking but only 5 minutes from Pauilliac and about 45 minutes drive to Carcans Plage and Maubuisson with its lake and leisure facilities. Great location for exploring vineyards and chateaux.

Absolutely everything was perfect!

Amazing property. Pascale and Alex make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. They are fantastic and made our stay incredible. We had an early morning departure and they were kind enough to pack us a breakfast picnic to take with us. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

The fact that we could not stay longer!

The house was lovely. The owners kept the classic original features like the beautiful tile and parquet floors and decorated the house using charming up-cycled antique as well as chic modern furniture. The hosts were very helpful and kind and offered an excellent breakfast. A perfect stay and we will return!

I had an extremely comfortable & enjoyable stay! I knew this place from years ago & the current owners have made a beautiful job of it! The location is ideal for the wine chateaux. The facilities were excellent. A real French property right in the heart of the wine region, literally next door to a winery and also a 10 minute drive or 25 minute walk to Pauillac centre. The hosts were so accommodating. Pascale and Alex knew the locality and could recommend places to eat and drink. They were available to cater to all our requests for food and drink after we shared our trip itinerary with them. The other members of the team were great too. The breakfast is brilliant as there is a great choice to start the day. A very organised, efficient, yet homely operation at this property.

Everything. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt. This amazing couple made us feel so welcome into there beautiful home. Nothing was a problem this is the best place I have ever stayed and I hope to return

Dinner was not available on the nights we stayed but we were recommended a nearby restaurant.

The owner, Pascale was very friendly and helpful. Lovely large rooms with comfortable beds. Plenty of choice for a delicious breakfast. The garden and pool area were great. Pascale arranged a visit to the small vineyard next door, domaine des sadons, which was very informative and good to hear the history of the place.

We couldn’t use the pool because there was a problem that day, but I guess it was unusual.

Everything described was authentic. We loved the room, the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was really good.The owners very nice. Don’t miss the visit and wine tasting with the owners neighbor « domaine des Sadons »

Wow! Absolutely incredible stay. Pascale and Alex are the most incredible, welcoming hosts. Their place is a total oasis with stunning property and beautiful rooms. We relaxed by the pool and walked through the vines. Winery tours are accessible by foot, the best by far was Domaine les Sadons which is directly beside the property. Couldn't give this place a higher rating. Pascale makes an incredible 3 course dinner and the breakfast was divine. Fantastic wine list at unbelievably affordable prices. We will definitely come back!!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. Stayed in with our 2 little girls and everything was perfect. Had dinner one night and it was absolutely gorgeous. Every detail was taken care of. The location was simply perfect.

Found the property easily and parking was available next to the property. Pascale was so friendly and very obliging when we arrived 45 mins early. Our room was ready and we were welcome to check in early. Our room was beautiful and super comfortable. The property is stunning and has double glazing and electric shutters for a really good night sleep. Breakfast was delicious and very well organised with a form to fill out giving many options so something for everyone. Great one night stay for us - thank you.
