How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Water temp in room and shower hard to regulate. Burning hot water sometimes comes out of the cold side.
Loved the women working the breakfast room. Tasty selection, never crowded.

There could be some additional soundproofing put in the walls, as I imagine if it is busy you can probably hear a lot of other guests.
The staff here are amazing. I cannot fault the service at all. The hotel is also located in a nice, quiet part of Le Marais. You might here some people walking down the street at night, but that is to be expected in a busy, European city. The location is perfect if you want to be near good food, tourist sites. It is a very clean part of Paris!

Room rather small, but having said that it was pretty, quiet, and comfortable. You may struggle if you have large suitcases.
Excellent location and beautifully presented room. Amenities in the room were excellent.

As some other guests have noted, there can be issues with noise transfer between rooms. However the managers have been very responsive in addressing the issues so hopefully this is not a problem in future.
Ismael on the front desk is an exceptionally helpful and kind man. The location is great and the decor is pretty and distinctive. Although some rooms are quite small the accessible room on the ground floor is very spacious.

Parking is very far by car. Closer walking but area is difficult for cars. Really small areas but very cosy hotel. The decor and service overpasses the small sizes. Would come back again.
It is a 'love' hotel with a magnificent service and a very good breakfast. Decor is very beautiful. Quiet zone.

Super cute hotel and confectionary on the edge of the Marais. Room was a little tight but by Parisian standards still comfortable with enough space to exercise in the morning. Staff were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing particularly - by the nature of its location, the rooms are small (but if you are wanting to stay in a hotel room in Paris then one suspects you are prioritising the wrong things).
Very quaint - super location for those looking to explore Le Marais.

The drain in the shower was a bit clogged and the hair dryer was pretty old and not very convenient.
The hotel is very cute! I liked the decor and the general feel of the place. It’s located not far from the metro (~5 minutes walk to Filles du Calvaire, line 8), it took us about 10-15 minutes to get to the centre but you could easily walk there (like ~30-40 minutes?). There are plenty of little cafes in that area so it wouldn’t be a trouble to find a place to eat out not far from the hotel. The room was great, pretty small but it had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was awesome, there were various foods, sweet or savoury.

Room temperature not well moderated (cold) and dark. Very mediocre breakfast.
Very good location, close to where my son lives in the Marais. On a very quiet street. Comfortable room, exceptional staff, and extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.
