Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We couldn’t get slippers as they did not have on stock. Also they have a good initiative which provides free drink if you prefer “Green Clean-up” however the rule was to have drink under 10 EUR which was not mentioned
The location is very centric, room was clean and staff was kind

Breakfast 3/5. A lot of people. Poor food choice.
Based in city center. Just 7 minutes away from x-mas market and other x-mas entertainment. The room was clean comfortable and with the huge terrace.

There is parking, but it takes some effort to get there (with codes, etc) :D

The room's heating system was faulty. The staff took care of it and gave us a small heater, but it wasn't enough, so we were cold.
The location of the facility was very good, breakfast was nice.

our bathroom fan wasn't working and there was a flashing console in our room. we were only there one night so didn't need it fixing

No sink in the separate toilet. No teaspoon and only one milk capsule for the coffee.
Comfort and class. Rainfall shower, proper coffee machine and luxury shower products. A good space with everything you need. Private underground parking was good also, although a bit of a faff with codes needed. A brilliant location to walk into the heart of Lille with shops, restaurants and the historic square.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was a great size, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom had an excellent shower. The staff were attentive and very welcoming, which made our experience even better. The location was excellent — just a short walk from Lille’s main square.

We wished for someplace to put our clothes - other than working out of our suitcases. There was a tiny closet, but totally inadequate for 2 people. The "desk" was very shallow, so not great for use as a desk. We used one of the two side tables instead. The other one held a suitcase.
Location was excellent, as were the breakfast offerings. We enjoyed getting tokens to use at the bar if we skipped the daily room cleaning. Wastebaskets were always emptied. The mini-bar was complimentary and re-stocked daily. Lots of windows, but the drapes provided night darkness. Staff was unfailingly polite and professional. Great seating in room: 2 side chairs plus a small sofa.

A little noise outside especially at 6 am
Great staff team who were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. Liked the drinks token for not using housekeeping.

Sometimes the staff were not on top of things during breakfast. No spoons for cereals or for yoghurts were refreshed. The toaster needed replacing it was too slow. The mugs were not always replaced sufficiently. One morning the coffee ran out in the machine. Being British I am a tea drinker and coffee machines are not good enough to produce a good cup of tea as the water needs to be at boiling point. The main lights in the room were insufficient to see your wardrobe clothing or safe area during evening hours. They said the fridge bar was free, but had one medium sized bottle of water and one can of orange juice but was not always replaced by the cleaner.
Room was large. We had two chairs and a sofa and two coffee tables. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The location was very good no more than a five minute walk into the centre. They lent us an umbrella when it was raining, gave us restaurant ideas, showed us places on the map and the location from the hotel.
