Room for improvement with basic maintenance. Main light in the bathroom needs a bulb change, Need a seal under the shower screen to stop water leaking out, bedroom window broken, cannot close top half or reach it. Bathroom sky light could not reach to close. Room was booked for two,, only 1 mug provided. Only 2 bath towels, no hand towels. Socket to the left of the bed does not work. Room 315

It looks very rundown from the outside and is in urgent need of major renovations.

The property is very conveniently situated just a short stroll from lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, takeaways and also the sea front and the cricket ground at Hove. There is also limited parking onsite, which proved very handy. Payment for this is via Your Parking Space, with the QR code available at reception.

The room was tired, the bathroom mirror was cracked and the pole for the shower head broken, as was the shower door. The room was not worth the money, but you’re paying for the location. Worth bearing in mind it’s a budget hotel.

Really good location, close to the beach. The staff were available and friendly. The nights were quiet, the bed was comfortable.

No hot water one morning, even though it was quickly fixed. Do always keep in mind that this hotel is a budget option. I also found it difficult to find my way round the hotel (to and from reception and my room) at first.

Room was comfortable, I had a lovely sleep there (fresh clean bed). It was in a good state of decoration. They did the good bit of customer service with me, of upgrading me to a double room.

Not bad for the price

Friendly staff, not the best in terms of facilities but good enough for the price. Walking distance (±10mins) to the beach, and lots of food and cafe options around Hove. Room was spacious, we got towels but not body soap/shampoo.

The door handle not falling off!!! 🤣

For a Friday night stay in Hove this fit the bill perfectly. Not perfect but the room was clean and was decent. , which was all I wanted. The neighbouring room was noisy but that's not the hotel's fault. One slightly comical incident was that when I was leaving the next morning the entire door handle came off in my hand so couldn't get out!!! I had to ring reception and get them to open the door from the other side!! The staff were very apologetic at this and were helpful beforehand. Would definitely return if I required a cheap stay.

Seemed confused about us asking for a ground floor room or similar, even though we had previously asked twice. Wanted to put us in a family room and move us after 1st night as no tv in other ground floor room?

Good location near to the shops and seafront. And close to the train station 🚉 Must say after our initial chats re. rooms&confusion the man on the desk stepped up and got things sorted out re.tv, towels, bin, tea&coffee and he removed 5 large boxes that were being stored. He was very helpful.

Have stayed there before due to location. Room was tired, the curtain was hanging off the rail, flaking paint on walls and ceiling. Shower has no head so there was only a tap like spout of water.

Lift didn’t work had to pay for parking and wallpaper pealing off walls with broken furniture. However we realised the hotel was being painted etc so will probably all be fixed soon

Unfortunately heating in the room was off but on suite lovely and warm.

Location suitable for access to local shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Room clean. Onsite parking.
