Very poor equipment in the kitchen. The shower is far too small for a tall person ( 2.00 m ) Very poor carpeting in the room. Damaged in several places.

There was a 'small' midge problem which meant I was bitten very badly despite the citronella candles. It wasn't nearly as good as the pictures made out. The caravan (well whole park) are a bit on the old, tired side. There were black mould stains on the bathroom blind, bedroom curtains and the headboard, however, the caravan was clean. These items should be replaced. It was quite far - at least a 40min drive to get to the shops or petrol station.

The caravan was clean. The owner was friendly, we weren't hassled and the park itself was quiet. I think they allow pets as I saw a dog walker. The little shop on-site was handy and even though it was closed for the day when we arrived, we were allowed to buy a couple bits. Literally in the middle of no-where.

The sofa was filthy and stained, with dust accumulating in many spots. The curtains, bed sheets, and pillowcases were old and marked with stains. Plus, there were no bath towels available.

We are used to rural water pressure being poor, but with fabulous pressure on the cold water, the dribble of warm water was very disappointing in the shower. A warm shower was needed when we got back to the caravan in late October! Also, please make it clear on your website that you get a caravan if you book a 2-bed, not the nice spacious cabins that all your photos and descriptions show.

Beautiful rural location, very peaceful and quiet. You get what you pay for; we paid a very reasonable amount and got basic, clean accommodation. It was tired and dated, but clean and well maintained.

The lodge was a little worn and tired in places, for us we found it perfect, so it wasn't a negative. Everything was clean and well presented. Our teens were dismayed at the lack of WiFi, and absolutely no EE signal, so be prepared if you need that to enjoy your stay.

Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful location. The lodge was spacious and had everything we needed. It's a great spot to be out of the way but also able to explore the larger area of Scotland. If you like quietness and time away from civilisation, then this is perfect.

Animal hair on carpets, no iron/ ironing board. Not enough information about facilities. One toilet roll, no extra blankets or pillows. Decor a bit dated.

The hot water was temperamental. Some times it worked perfectly, but often we could not get hot water out of the shower, or it would get hot and then switch to ice cold half way through. Very frustrating. Not sure what is happening at this site, the caravan side seem to be in managed decline. Over 75% of the vans are derelict with boarded up windows and rotten decking. The sooner these wrecked caravans are removed the better. It resembled a strap yard in places. That being said, the actual grounds were well kept and it did have a certain charm..but I think it's a shadow of its former self.

The valley is quiet and very relaxing. The caravan itself was dated, but clean. The heating worked well and kitchen had all basic amenities. The water out of the taps was amazing

The cottages were not properly cleaned. The rooms had a noticeable lack of attention to detail, and we found things like dust and unkempt areas, which is disappointing for any guest. However, the worst part of the experience was the behavior of the staff. Despite informing them in advance about our arrival time, the staff was not welcoming at all and was extremely rude and used foul language (specifically, F words) in front of ladies, which was completely unacceptable and disgusting.

The location was the only redeeming quality of our stay. It’s set in a beautiful area. Unfortunately, everything else was a letdown.
