Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe attention to detail was missing. Ironing board cover took me 30mins to sort out. The curtain was missing a few hocks so I was awake with the light.
The coffee and the cocktails were great. The food was delicious but took 45mins to arrive only when prompted.

AustraliaWell I did have a crazy big suitcase, so no elevator is not a problem for the average guest, but I got a ton of help getting by bag up to my room. I only mention it for those who aren’t good at steps.
This is a boutique hotel with a cool sense of fun without distracting from beautifully clean and charming rooms. My room on the top floor was lovely, perfect for sleep yet still could see the rooftops of London. The restaurant does amazing food and is so comfortable for the solo diner.

United Kingdomit’s more like a restaurant/pub with rooms, nothing wrong with that but prices are up there with decent full service hotels. No lift, light sensor in the shower, set noisy fan and shower light off through the night and there is no way to switch it off.
Decor of the room and hotel part of the building was really good . Staff were polite and courteous.

It was perfectly fine but there are nicer places in London if you want to stay somewhere and wish to stay put. Nitpicking comments: there was no little table or stool next to the armchair - I'd nowhere to put my coffee basically! On the floor as it happened! Bog standard chrome pedal bin in the beautiful bathroom - i would have sourced something more in-keeping. Everything else was perfect
Really nice design details including the mini SMEG fridge, beautiful old leather armchair, Beni Ourain rug, cool art on the stairs and in the breakfast room Bathrobe, slippers, coffee machine and plentiful coffee capsules, high end teas, water and milk supplied in the room. Added extras such as complementary umbrella (it was raining during my stay) Very good breakfast AND they were happy for me to sit where I wanted, none of the: "you're a single diner so go sit in the corner' nonsense Excellent staff - one carried my suitcase up two flights of stairs, super kind.

Portugal10 minutes from Victoria Station. Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean Perfect housekeeping. Good soundproofing. Quality coffee (capsule) and tea in the room. Full sized toiletries ( natural, vegan, cruelty free). Big, fluffy towels and bathrobes (and bathmats that are *actual* bathmats and not only a slightly coarser hand towel). Nice rainfall shower.

It was in a great location & such attention to detail in the furnishing & a lovely atmosphere. So cosy & the Roberts radio left on for arrival a really nice touch.
