Parking is difficult and quite expensive. The room needed another comfy chair as it was a double and there were two of us. The final bill was incorrect and I had quite a battle to get it sorted out. This spoilt an otherwise lovely stay.

The staff were well trained and attentive. Breakfast Location Ambience

We were in a large but dark room facing houses. For £530 I would have expected a better view at the rear of the hotel but this was to be either a £30 (view only upgrade) or £150 (suite upgrade). A few facilities not working in the room including the lavatory and no loo paper (we had to call down to reception). Bed was very hot for the summer and so we had to put aircon on, which kept us awake. On checkout, we were told we could have got a different duvet.. Outdoor areas quickly get mucky and don't appear to get cleaned until the next day. Terrible terrible parking - literally none available and you have to switch to parking passes. If you lose the pass? £100..

Great location and spectacular outdoor terrace which overlooks the gorge and the Clifton suspension bridge. Close links to the wonderful clifton town. Good fast wifi, included in the room. Excellent monsoon shower. Communal areas are very clean with lovely design. Great sized room.

I booked a room with a view ! the room smelt unpleasantly of damp, the top shower was not working but you only realise when you are in shower so no point of asking for technician . No body cream either but this is rated 4+

Always the same with this hotel, everything excellent but there's something about the customer service that isn't the best - maybe its the prevailing culture. The staff dont seem to enjoy being there

The outside bar area is SO busy and buzzy, which in principle is a lot of fun. However it needs more staff to keep up with demand: to clean, clear up and serve quicker.

The balcony connected to our room was dirty and covered in cobwebs which detracted from the amazing location and view. Breakfast service was excellent but only average food. Disappointed that kippers were not available.

Location is stunning - We had our wedding reception here in 1983. This was our first time back.

Car Park. We had to park right at the bottom of a very steep bank. The car park is small and there were no spaces. We struggled carrying our belongings back up the bank.

Room was a bit smaller than expected. But the Hotel was fabulous. Lovely staff.

Bedroom was tiny, if two people had been sharing would have been very tight and had to negotiate quite a few steps to reach it.

Location was great - view of the bridge and surrounding countryside with Clifton Village on your doorstep, the breakfast was super - lots of choice, great terrace on a sunny evening Easy to walk into the city centre

The suite we were in was in a separate annex with its own entrance it was a little dark and really in a basement. You couldn’t see out of the bedroom windows at all and had to leave by the back door to take in views of the suspension bridge. It’s not really what you expect with a suite.

    Amazing location and beautiful facilities.
