Two of the beds were quite uncomfortable (the metal frame bed and the pink room)

The farmhouse was spacious and full of character. It was a great value, it was nice to meet the animals, and the breakfast was great.

It was a treat to stay at Batten Farm - lovely accomodation, fantastic breakfast, wonderful host and great location. We are now trying to find an excuse to return again!!!

It is a farm! So be prepared for cockerels crowing and horses neighing and horse boxes and early mucking out! If you embrace it, it’s absolutely beautiful.

Lovely working farm in a lovely secluded location. We had a walk around and saw chickens, cows and of course the horses outside our window and out on the field. We had a bit of a hiccup to start as the room had not been cleaned. The host was apologetic and got it sorted. He suggested we take a short drive to Castle Combe which we did and it was absolutely beautiful. We had a curry delivered in the evening from a local takeaway and it was very quick and very good! The breakfast was bought to our room at our requested time and was amazing!

This is a perfect place for leisure stay. Peaceful and comfortable. I like the quality of bedding, especially the towels on each bed matching with it. Beds are very comfortable. If I lived in London, I would come here as many times as possible, for the comfy stay, for the breakfast😋😋😋

Loved the location. Close to Castle Combe and easy drive to other parts of the Cotswolds. Peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic! Wish I had more time there

The ONLY complaint is incredibly minor......no fan and it was soooo hot.

Fantastic. Everything you could need. My daughter and I lived it and didn't want to leave. Horses in the field and they're so friendly. They let us stroke them, they walked over to us as soon as they saw us. The apartment is beautiful and there's a patio with a table to sit and and admire the view. Breakfast 😋 too. Will definitely go back.

The cottage was beautiful, very private and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, i couldnt fault it! The Milk in the fridge was the tastiest ive ever had and the tennis courts were a great addition to the stay. The location was excellent for visiting the picturesque local villages! We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Floorboards creek a lot which is to be expected I suppose in such a traditional old building such as the farm house. I didn’t realise that the back bedroom could only be accessed through the front bedroom wasn’t an issue for us but maybe something other group bookings may need to consider

Rustic charm. Don’t expect luxury but this place makes up for it with its spaciousness and peaceful location. Not a fan of the scratchy sheets and firm bed. Breakfast was coooked to perfection.

It's a lovely farm house, based on a fully working farm; everything was perfect for our needs and the owners were friendly. It was amazing to see a beautiful horse looking in on us in the morning. The full English breakfast was scrummy too!!

These are small things really and won't put me off staying as a regular customer because we love it, but skylight in small bedroom doesn't have a blind so sunlight pours in at dawn; also bed a small room isn't very comfortable.
