FranceBathroom out dated, 1980s look with a bath and no walk in shower. Then shower controls worked badly. No hot water for a shower although great water pressure. So a cold Sunday morning shower at 7.45am spoilt the experience. Taps in bathroom were no mix, so separate 1980's hot and cold sink taps. Room was fine, by bathroom let it down and towels tired. Pity. Not to our standaard if we were to have guests stay for a function.
Breakfast was very good, staff friendly and gardens very nice to walk in.

United KingdomLovely manor with pretty grounds that we could walk in. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The rooms were clean. Toiletries provided (initially body wash was missing, but informed reception and they brought some quickly). Breakfast was nice - we opted for included option and this was tea or coffee, toast, hot breakfast and continental all included each day.

Isle of ManIt’s a shame the gardens aren’t better tended, especially in the immediate public areas & terraces but I appreciate that it all comes with a cost. The Wisteria looked fabulous though!
A warm & friendly welcome. The restaurant team were charming and worked hard at delivering good service. The evening meal was of good quality. The housekeeper we met was lovely.

United KingdomAs a somewhat older client I do struggle with the over bath showers, but usually my stay is short enough that it is not an issue, but you might want to bear in mind for future bathroom refurbishments perhaps.
I love staying here, beautiful house, wonderful staff who cannot do enough for you. (Whilst invidious to single people out I would like to mention the very helpful and charming May and also the other breakfast staff team). It is in a convenient location with beautiful grounds and is altogether just lovely. Very much the family run feel, as against the big chain.
