We stopped here on our way home travelling from Spain, arriving very early our room was ready and they showed us straight to it so we could get settled. We had our two dogs which in our room had dog bowls, treats and dog beds. They were so accommodating for us to have our daughter visit us for the day. We had lunch and evening meal, Which was exceptional. Food is top quality. The staff are so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely make this our stop of stay when travelling to the euro tunnel.

Rooms were very spacious and had tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.. we also had room service for breakfast at no extra charge. Ena the receptionist made us feel so welcome and really accommodated us. Parking was excellent too at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, we were unable to access certain amenities, such as therapy sessions, because we didn't book them in advance as part of our hotel stay. These sessions tend to fill up quickly, so it would be helpful if the hotel could reach out to new guests to remind them about availability and encourage early bookings.

Our experience with the dinner and breakfast service was exceptional, with attentive staff who remembered our names, adding a personal touch. The servers were fantastic, taking the time to explain the dishes and making sure we had everything we needed. My partner and I also enjoyed the sauna, and the reception staff were very helpful in guiding us there. Unfortunately, because we only stayed one night and didn’t book a therapy session in advance, we missed out on that. However, as kind gesture, the hotel allowed us to check out a bit later.

Although the breakfast food was good, the buffet style doesn't really sit well with the rest of the experience, I think it should be table service to match the class of the rest of the hotel stay.

Good restaurant and bar food, good room service, lovely room with a very comfy bed, we didn't want to get out of in the morning. For our evening meal, our Waiter, Joshy was fabulous as was the food. And all staff. My partner had a couple of elemis treatments on the second day, which she said was good value for money, while I used the spa facilities. You can use the spa even after you check out at 11.

The lorry which arrived right outside our bedroom at 7.30 am and made a horrendous racket! Granted we were a little late than arranged for our group breakfast due to unforeseen circumstances but whilst the staff were great it took ages to be served and the requested toast never arrived … staff were nowhere to be seen. A little disappointing

The carpets seemed to be dated and although they were cleaned etc, they seemed to make the hotel seem frumpy. Whereas all the classic decor which had been decorated was good.

The service from the staff was exceptional, I have never had such politely attentive service ever. Also from the housekeeping staff who were very responsive.

All went well. Really clean and tidy and up to standard. Not expecting there to be racing at Brands hatch that day. Not too intrusive.

Nothing to not like! and if there was one thing that could be possible and that would be to make the bar area slightly bigger, but when it’s not so busy it’s just perfect!
