I'm visually impaired and signposting for the rooms and could have been better. I also found some of the stairs dodgy, especially those covered by red, heavily patterned carpet.

Loved the pool and spa, Paul was helpful and efficient in moving my dad and I to the twin room we booked, as opposed to a double.

It was very difficult to find our room it was like a rabbit warren It was also difficult to find the reception area due to there being so many corridors They could do with more signage telling to where the reception is You need to go into town if you fancy a meal as there’s nothing local really Breakfast was burnt

VERY tired, cracked tiles, missing lamps, broken switches, strange stains on the headboard, peeling/chipped paint, not properly cleaned. This hotel is fantastic but let down by tired, outdated rooms. Investment in rooms would make this a wonderful place to stay

Some of the furniture and decor could do with an update.

Beautiful location and venue, with a fascinating history we looked up online. The hotel shows a little of historical features which we loved, and was very comfortable and good value.

The fact there was only a rain shower head. The fact the lights all worked on one switch, therefore could not turn bathroom light out independently or main lights, had to turn off at main switch, then get into bed in the dark. The reading light switches did not work either.

We were very pleased with everything except a couple of things could be improved such as having bottled water in the room, shower caps supplied as only rain head shower, lights that worked independently.

The staff were rushed off their feet. We had to wait a very long time for a drink in the bar and I think more staff are needed. The food at the bar was amazing it was made quick, lovely and fresh and very flavoursome. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening it was ok but very overpriced for what it is and some parts of it were undercooked

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our room faced the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large and very clean. Their breakfast was class, we enjoyed it. The leisure center was really good. The pool was relaxing, and the sauna and steam room were really hot, which we loved. The Jacuzzi was good as well. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a good time

Stains in the bathroom floor ,same on the bedding,room wasn't ready when we arrived so we had to wait for a different room we got drinks vouchers from the gentleman in the reception who was very apologetic, when we arrived for breakfast the floor was ful l of cornflakes and crumbs very untidy

Some issues with booking a superior room and given a standard room. Staff said it was a superior room. When I showed photos of the booking and the room types they then changed us into a superior. Room wasn't ready for us at 3pm. Had to wait till 3.35 and then wrong room type.
