United KingdomTwin beds not always what is wanted, a few things needed fixing (dripping tap), no microwave, 10am is very early check out when check in is 4pm, the WiFi was inconsistent. But the overall property made up for these negatives.
Lovely decor, comfortable beds, spacious throughout, nice living areas, outside space, great location, easy booking, and arrival details.

United KingdomThe garage door was broken on arrival so had to be used manually and there was no hot water. We did however contact the managing agent about this and they did come out on both occasions which was impressive to include arranging for an emergency plumber on the Sunday. However both of these should really have been checked prior to arrival. The provision of kitchen roll, additional cloths and other kitchen equipment such as baking trays/ oven dishes etc would have been useful particularly kitchen roll as a bottle of beer fell out of the fridge door and smashed all over the kitchen floor. We had to buy extra loo roll. You needed a new soap dispenser in the main bathroom as the label was peeling off! Oh and the outside spaces, again very welcome in a city need tidying up. Finally there was a smell of damp on the stairs and on entering the living room making me think that it may not have been used for a while and needed airing before our stay.
The location was fantastic and the number of bedrooms meant that within our group, we could all have a bedroom. So many places are geared for couples or families but we were a group of friends and welcomed the privacy of our own rooms. Had our group been larger, we would of course have shared and this would have been ok as the beds were singles. I guess they lock together to make a double if we had requested that or at the very least could have been pushed together

The time consuming way to pay for this property with all the extreme security of uploading of documents, signatures and photo, enough to put people off using the property. This is a lovely property but lots of effort to book.

United KingdomParking was a nightmare. A house of this size would typically have more than 1 car. Great that there is a garage, however everywhere is paid parking and for a few days, it is costly.
Excellent location and great facilities, i.e.dishwasher, washing machine etc. They are all single beds which can be moved together if required! Large kitchen, dining and living area which suited us perfectly as a family of 8

United KingdomSome elements of the house are starting to look a bit tired (marks on the carpet, dining chairs broken/ with tape on it), you could do we some more kitchen accessories (racks for the oven, trays etc.). We also didn't have any bathmats or tea towels/ oven gloves for the kitchen. You need to bring your own loo roll as well, we had half a roll in one of the bathrooms.
The house was in a great location, easy to access with lots of parking available and was a great size. All of the bedrooms were a great size, as were the bathrooms. 15/ 20 minutes walk to the centre and 5/10 minutes to bars/ shops.

United KingdomThere was a tunnel of recycling piled by the front door that we had to pass by for 3 days. This could have been removed by cleaner or agent. The back patio was very unsavoury. Decking and balustrades in bad repair and the weeds had been cut back and just dumped in the well by the dungeon like bedroom. The carpets were very dirty , the sofas worn out which describes the general feel of the place. A very hard used property without much maintenance. The back door didn’t lock .

United KingdomThe house was really tired, we were going to go for an alternative house which was cheaper and advertised as cheap and basic but we thought we'd treat ourselves to a nicer place and pay the extra but it really needs investing in. When i asked the owner after our stay if we could have a partial refund in line with the cost of the other accommodation he was incrediblely rude. Looking at other reviewers they have pointed this out and if id looked at the reviews before booking, i wouldn't have booked, the owner replies to their feedback saying they are making false accusations and just trying to get something for nothing but trust me it's true. The owner needs to spend time in the house and make a list and sort all the things that need sorting, just some : Dishwasher trays falling apart Old tired grout Peeling wallpaper Dirty carpets Clearly had a leak in bathroom and not patched up neatly Outdoor areas need a good clean The whole place shows sign of heavy use On top of the fabric of the house being not up to scratch The door bell didn't work The caffitieire was broken Windows didn't open The shower pressure was dreadful The cleaner was still there when we arrived so we had to wait longer The owner said i should have listed all this during our stay, but to be honest the list was so long, we were there for a funeral and we just wanted to get it done without getting the owner in during our stay. He will probably reply unkindly to this review but tbh we've lost out and he needs to invest in his own property or advertise it truthfully
Unfortunately this wasn't a gem, it was much more tired and well used than the photos and descriptions, it's falsely advertised and booking.com should make them redo their photos and descriptions.
