Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomthe shower cubicles are very narrow, have fun trying to change in them. the shared toilets also had only one tiny sink, not very helpful. when it's peak times. I have stayed in these pods before but this was the smallest, it just fits the mattress. you have to put your own sheet on, but it was too short. the mattress also crucified my back. I have chronic pain and the foam did nothing for me. I asked for another duvet one night so I could pad it out which helped a bit. I wouldn't stay here again because of this reason. also in 2025 luggage storage here was free, but now it's £4 per day. I think your accommodation should not charge to store your bags, there are luggage storage options all over the city, and en route to the hotel I passed 5... one which was cheaper so I went there.
I liked that there were options to have my own "pod". the room was really quiet at nights and the pod did get quite warm. I'd not want to be here in summer or a heatwave, the fans wouldn't do anything. I had a lower pod and had a nice big luggage storage area.

Australiabedrooms were too warm at night, i woke up sweating most nights. some bathrooms were closed at intervals so you had to see on which floors were they available.
the elevator was relatively responsive, plenty of bathrooms and showers (though the showers did not have any ventilation) and the kitchen was lovely and clean. Plenty of oil/spices for free use and good fridge space available. Staff were very helpful with questions about public transport. Very reasonable kitchen hours, midnight closed for cleaning but can’t cook your own breakfast until midday

United KingdomThis was my second time staying at this hostel - I went for a more expensive dorm room this time in the hope of a better experience, but still it was incredibly cramped and claustrophobic and the choice was either a) absolutely roast overnight with the window closed or b) be kept awake by the main road. As positives, the location is excellent for access to Kings Cross, the mattress was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

NepalThe space was very nice and close to everything. The hostel has a big chill/lunch/diner/kitchen room to eat chill and get together.Staff was very lovely and helpfull. The beds were nice as well. The only problem with the bottom beds were (and i am 1.57 small) that you can not sit op straight, you need to bend your head constantly. the top bed was perfect. The lockers beneath were very spacious and nice. some lockers were less reachable then others. There were a lot of toilets and showers. That was very nice! Everything for this price was a 8/10 definitley coming back if i am in london.

CanadaThe kitchen was closed for self-cooking during breakfast hours (6:30 am to 10:30 am) since the hostel was serving a paid breakfast. It would have been nice to have the option to prepare our own meal.
The location is unbeatable – it’s within walking distance to major sightseeing spots, and public transport options like tube and bus stops are just around the corner, making it easy to explore the area. The hostel itself was clean, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the pod room; it provided a cozy and private space to rest after a long day of sightseeing.
