when we arrived staff were outside having a cigarette and as we walked past them we thought they would follow us in but no we were stood at reception waiting for them to finish their smoke

In our twin bedroom the beds were like trampolines. Bouncy and noisy and squeaky. The mattress was lumpy, you could feel the springs.

Good value for money for a basic journey break. More amenities than I was expecting , bar, coffee bar, restaurant. Good selection of travel requisites on sale. Super friendly staff. Near to lovely countryside.

No lift so it’s difficult for disabled people to access the first floor. Sink gets clogged up with water easily

The location is excellent, right next to a service station including 24 hour McDonald’s. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Great variety of English breakfast food options

It's not the most picturesque but practical and functional

It's a good price. Room was basic but spacious and clean with the things you need. Easily accessible.

It was good, the staff was good, and the 2 cleaners on that day were fantastic, very polite and helpful. The morning breakfast was lovely. The only thing bad was the 2 single beds, it was horrible.

The carpet was dirty and the tap was not actually attached to the sink. Which made it difficult to wash from that sink or use the tap. But I reported it to the staff member and he told me that he would tell maintenance. Obviously that would only be fixed after we left so it didn't really help. The room basically needed a really good paint and a better inspection before you put somebody else in there.. and some tender loving hair. The people next door also kept on trying to get into our room via the connecting door. But we assumed it was children so we did not make a complaint.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfy so it was ok. Just a shame that the room had not been looked after, by your company.

The toilet facilities in the lobby area were shabby and dirty

The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Happy to provide clean towels. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer in room as well as tea/ coffee making facilities. Good food in the restaurant.

Not all alcoholic drinks were available, and there were no squashes for drinks. Lack of privacy due to no net curtains in some rooms overlooking the lorry park . Reception happy to change rooms.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were ample. Very comfy beds. Good breakfast.

It was pure value for money, nothing to complain. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good, dinner options next door were quite broad. room was good for a family. So we all enjoyed our short stay.

the Bed was all metal springs every single one was felt through thr bed Heater in room did not work but we offered a room change that we declined No form of heating at all in the bathroom

Would be good if we could have taken the dog into the restaurant as there was nowhere to sit and eat with dogs. This would mean that customers would be spending more in your hotel.

Wash basin not being in the bathroom.

Easy to find and very good value for money. The food was good and not expensive. Excellent help yourself breakfast with plenty of choice. Our room was quiet and comfortable.

The bathroom wasn’t good. All the seal was away from the shower, the shower hose was dirty, water didn’t drain very good. Wobbly toilet seat and the bed had been broken and a piece of wood used to prop up one side.

The facilities within the rooms didn't exactly give me confidence in use or quality e.g. the lights or even the door locking in the bathroom properly, but for the price, can't really complain. Also, really wish there was a plug point beside the beds to charge phones close by. Final point, even with all the lights on, still felt a little dark for me but really nitpicks.

When booking in advance the price is very competitive. The staff are very helpful and kind and were able to help me with any issues I faced. The rooms were clean. Whilst I'd give the facilities a 6-7 out of 10 rating, due to lights beside the beds in the twin room I booked not working and no bottled water being provided as standard, they did have ironing facility, the beds were ok but clean and the rooms were of good size. That being said, the staff were very accommodating and were kind enough to provide a different room free of charge. The breakfast was also lovely, plus, due to the location, plenty of places to eat from! Would definitely go again.
