Room large well furnished stunning views super clean .

Room directly below restaurant. Very noisy first evening furniture above being moved and chairs constantly scraping until restaurant closed.

Location and view outstanding. Room service daily very good. Spa treatments excellent. Jane was an excellent therapist.

We were staying in hotel, lovely room and stunning view, however we had no hot water in the evenings, which after a day hill walking meant we had to have a very tepid shower. Coffee machine in room 102 is not working properly, which obviously you wouldn't be aware of without a mention. A swimming costume spinner would be great in swimming area, especially for families using pool daily.

Superb location and lots of activities on site. Very friendly and approachable staff. Superb views from main areas and bedrooms. Food in restaurant excellent. Great sized ,and warm, swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay in lovely setting and well maintained grounds.

Room had no towels, although managed to get them from the maid who was on the same floor. Coffee pods displayed in the room, but no coffee machine! Irritating green light in the ceiling above the bed, making sleeping difficult. Room was also very warm, again making it difficult to sleep. 2nd day a coffee machine appeared, but would only produce hot water, regardless what buttons were pressed. No instruction manual, likewise for the TV, impossible to get regular terrestrial channels. Other than that, Room was lovely, although shower temperature seemed to be limited externally.

Our room was unfortunately at the very end and right next to a fenced off service entrance, so we could see part of a lovely view, and partly a great view of the bins... There were trolleys being wheeled down a ramp there too at about midnight on our second night which was tough to sleep through. I found the mattress quite uncomfortable, it was extremely firm. The food at dinner on our 2nd night was slightly over seasoned but overall the food was fantastic. The coffee machine in the room wasn't working. We were here on the first day of the season, and it was really disappointing that the swimming pool wasn't ready for use as that was one of the main things we were looking forward to was the spa and a dip in the pool. It's very remote, the single track road down to where the Lochgoilhead sits is not for the faint hearted! There's loads of things for kids to do (although I didn't have mine with me this time). We were only there for a short weekend, but would love to return and do more walks and exploring around the area.

Every single member of staff was so friendly and approachable, and helpful. We got to experience breakfast, lunch and dinner, and our food was delicious. The room was spacious and clean. The views were beautiful. Everything is pretty reasonably priced. We had a great experience in the spa too, Jane was amazing, even though we were her last clients after a very long day, she provided a top notch service and really helped work out all my knots with a lovely hot stone massage. The maid, whose name I think was Christina, was really helpful, we had to ask for a couple of extra pillows and towels for my mum and she was very obliging. She seemed to be working alone and was doing a fantastic job cleaning all the rooms!

It is very well geared for families with children. This meant however that it wasn't quite perfect for us as the swimming pool was very busy and parts of the place were very noisy. However, if you had children, it would be great.

The location is beautiful. The staff service was exceptional.
