Everything was really beautiful, we had a lovely evening on the terrace and in the jacuzzi, the amazing weather helped, of course. Hoping to come back some time.

Nothing in particular but rooms couldn't be locked from inside for privacy and you have to pay to watch most TV channels. Drinking water supply was missed at most. Bought our own water all the time.

We liked our huts. They were spacious and comfortable with nice design. Kitchen was specious with dinning area. Sea view from the balcony. Nice clean bedding.

Slightly odd reception- poorly signed and received a call two and a half hours after we had left reminding us that we needed to check out by ten!!!

Minor areas of mould in the bathroom (not that surprising in a British seaside location). There could have been more crockery (although there were plenty of plastic plates, cups and bowls) and a second oven shelf would have been useful. The indoor pool smelled strongly of chlorine. The tennis court looked a bit tired. I appreciate there were recycling facilities at the resort, maybe guests should be nudged to recycle more - a sign above the single kitchen bin would help with this?

Great location, we had sea views from the 5 person Scandinavian Lodge we stayed in, and it was a nice walk down to Portreath village and beach through a woodland area. The building was pet friendly and secure for dogs with an enclosed terrace and balcony. Stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs - great for young children, too. Well maintained gardens and buildings - you could tell they are no longer brand new, but there were signs of fresh paint and things generally seemed well looked after. The lodge had an upstairs open plan kitchen / diner / lounge area with seating and cooking facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes rack etc. There was adequate storage and everything we needed for the 4 night stay. Sachets of dishwasher powder and laundry power were provided, and some milk, teabags and ground coffee were also part of our welcome pack. I liked the efforts to be more environmentally friendly, the soap and body wash were eco. We used the indoor pool, sauna, gym and had a couple of drinks at the bar. All the staff we met were really helpful and genuinely tried to make our stay comfortable.  The beach is good, with waves that are best for body boarding. Sandy and pebbly areas. There was a fish and chips shop and a cafe open in April, also the surf hire place. Village has a good bakery and a corner shop / shop plus one surviving pub-restaurant. Coastal walk towards the west is great, but the walk towards east had sections closed due to rock falls & erosion, so you're forced to walk on the road.

Very little to complain about. A couple of minor tweaks/maintenance are needed on the lodge. The doors and windows were stiff to close, the lock on the door was temperamental, and there were leaks in the back bedroom when there was very heavy rain. Nothing that spoilt our time away though!

The hot tub couldn't be used on the first night as it was cold, it was warm by the next morning but it was a real shame that we couldn't use it on the Friday. It would be nice to have some entertainment in the evening.

The location was great, it was really peaceful and close to lots of cornwall's day outs!

Can’t fault anything!

We’ve had a amazingly relaxing weekend by the lake. Our studio cabin was perfect, all we needed and just what we needed. Lovely welcome touches, every staff member we’ve met has been friendly. The dog has loved watching the geese and the robo-mower (or Mowrice as we’ve nick named him) whilst we chilled in the hot tub. The walk to the beach is perfect, past the reindeer and other animals, then down through the woods. The facilities are superb and we’ll be returning soon for another break and to try the leisure & spa centre. Easy location to find, sitting perfectly on the coast for visiting both the immediate villages and bigger towns.

I could not find anything to complain about

The quality of the accommodation was excellent the cleanliness second to none. We did not try the facilities but the bar was very accommodating.

Long walk between facilities in rain and also the car park not a real problem just need to be prepared. On arrival main reception closed with no notification of where else to go and main switch board did not have an extension. Then part way through stay water was cut off for a couple of hours unexpectedly.

There was not enough staff allocated in the restaurant meaning we were turned away for a sit down meal, although there were tables available and we could order a takeaway from the restaurant. All the staff we encountered were amazing but it was very clear that not enough staff had been allocated for the number of guests on site. Some of the furniture in our cabin was quite worn. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and many of the advertised facilities, some of which we were emailed about immediately before arrival were not actually open. That would have been nice to know prior to arrival.

The rooftop bar was closed when I visited in February. The restaurant stopped serving food from 8:30pm.

The lodges on the lakeside are beautiful and in a peaceful setting! The private hot tub was an amazing experience

TV was sporadic signal in evenings! Pool far too busy to use which was ashame. Too many young children and they were in jacuzzi with parents despite signs saying no under 16s. They were also jumping in dangerously from edge of jacuzzi into the pool. Perhaps introduce adult only times? Booking system so not too busy?

Beautiful location and very spacious house and very comfy beds! Quiet.
