We were gutted that the restaurant wasn't open and the bar closed at 8pm. It was a Saturday night, apparently the don't serve food on a Friday and Saturday night, seems a waste.

Arrived around 1330hrs but could not check in as no staff available until 15.00hrs. Checked in over the phone and was told that our room key would be in a key safe and was given a pin number to access the safe. We arrived back at the hotel around 0100hrs on the following morning and to be fair do not really remember much. The room was adequate but nothing fancy, but it was what I expected for the price I paid. My only real disappointment was that on the following morning there was once again no one around. I assume that you do not do breakfast? I would have been happy if I could have purchased a coffee or even a bottle of water, but sadly no. The instant coffee in the room just isn`t to my taste. Would I stay here again? Yes because it was worth what we paid for it. Maybe give you guests a couple of bottles of water with the complimentary tea and coffee.

Creaky floorboards - but I have hypervigilance so everything is louder than it should be for me, 3am the guests in the next room must have been getting their 10k steps in round their room lol but other than the noise everything was perfect

The staff were so amazing welcoming me with my bad anxiety, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so comfortable and warm, bed was amazing! Perfect bath too!

When we’ve stayed before we have always had a breakfast. This room was booked in a hurry to attend my sisters funeral and I obviously didn’t take the care I should have before I paid. Very disappointed to not be able to get a breakfast. Room fine.

The property is beautiful. Although my standard double room was very small it was clean and comfortable. The other 2 rooms we booked were of a good size. My only issue was there was no breakfast being served anymore. The staff make this hotel. They are so friendly. The evening meal was fantastic and service superb. The ladies were very attentive.

Unfortunately there was only one type of pillow, although extra were provided, which were just too hard. One night the bar had music which did impose on sleep. As there was only a small group of people in the bar, was it necessary to have dance music playing with a heavy beat disturbing the people staying on a week night.

I liked the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food in the restaurant, the cleanliness of the hotel, having a warm, modern bathroom with shower and separate bath, and the size of our room.

A lovely warm welcome , a clean and comfy room . Our room was selected by the staff to minimise the noise from the function which was very thoughtful. Our kettle didn’t work and it was noted and the morning staff made us a lovely pot of coffee in the restaurant. Parking and location were perfect .

When I arrived after the check-in time, the door was locked. I rang the number on the door 5 minutes later, and the door was opened. Not the most pleasant or welcoming introduction. She told me she'd popped out to the shops!! No apology was offered. Fortunately, the gentleman on duty when checking out was lovely.

My room was (mostly) clean and comfortable. Also warm and a good sized bed.

Being disabled the room was fine, just the bad weather wasn’t ideal as the walk from room to the main establishment was down/up a steepish gradient from room.

Nice quiet location, although they don’t do meals Friday to Sunday. They had no problem loaning crockery and cutlery and our ordering food in.

The restaurant was closed Friday and Saturday, which we didn't know about until after we had booked and paid for our stay. The bar opened and closed when the staff felt like it, there were no fixed times.

The location and large parking made it easy when travelling in a large transit van. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food in bar is reasonably and good portions.

Unfortunately the bar and lounge was not open at all and there were no staff on site except a cleaner each morning and no food available If we had known in advance there would be no facilities available we would have booked somewhere else.

We did have a room (1), which had a small skylight and during the night it proved very noisy when it rained. A little bit shabby and tired.

Good sized room, large comfortable bed and a generous bathroom with a great shower over a bath that filled up quickly with lots of hot water. Plenty of parking.
