The most stunning scenery, beautiful balance of rustic and charming farm buildings with the most beautiful aesthetic decor with everything needed practical wise for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Staff were simply wonderful, couldn’t have been more helpful.

Loved it! A little gem! Had a lovely stay in the Stable Cottage with hot tub, the cottage was cosy with all the facilities you need catered for. Beautiful location with amazing views. Very nice on site tea room, tasty breakfast bun and helpful friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Oh my....where to begin!!! After getting past thirsk and heading to boltby me and my partner felt an overwhelming sense of calm and isolation.driving up the beaten track road we knew we had found exactly what we were hoping for NATURE 360 DEGREES) simply a stunning location.upon arrival we were greeted with trust as there was nobody on site,with only a note in the room written help yourself snd feel at hone.another wonderful feeling that are hard finds these days! The room was quaint and snug,just what you need.ideal We ate out that evening and woke the next day to staff on site,i think the cleaner first,very polite and warm,then met ginny (apologies if that spelling is incorrect) what a wonderful human being,we had a pony trek booked but wanted to return (past our check out time) to chat and ask more about the business and it's offerings.after our trek we headed back up that wonderful beaten track road to high paradise farm,walked in the cafe and again ginny along with her team were there to greet us warmly.just a really beautiful experience from start to end.before leaving we went into the farm grounds and met a lovely chap (didn't catch his name) but it was i think ginnys dad,he was working but dropped his tools to accompany us in a tour around the farm.just amazing to have thst level of appreciation We only spent 18 hours of so on the farm and the surrounding areas but we fell in love with the place,people and their politeness.if I had pockets full of money I'd relocate in a heartbeat just to be around those types of community and environment.everyondle we met were just really good,kind folk 10/10 experience.will definitely be returning soon To all at high paradise.....well done,you smashed it

Friendly helpful staff made it an enjoyable stay. The room had everything I needed for a self catering break and the bed was very comfortable. The lovely tea room makes great food too! The location is perfect for walking and stargazing.

With the high winds the TV reception kept cutting out and then coming back after a few minutes.... in the morning without the winds the reception was fine...!!

Arrived late (8.30pm) but had travelled from Surrey up to Wigan for a football match and then on to Boltby to spectate at the local rally on the Sunday. Found the room ok and hunkered down on a windy night... Wood burner was great, bed was very comfortable and brought Fish and chips + drink with me. what more could you want. Up early and left to walk around the forest for the day.

Such a lovely place! Our room was very cosy and we really enjoyed warming up next to the fireplace after a long cold walk! Perfect place to come with our dog with lovely walks around, a peaceful place! We will be back for sure!

There's nothing we didn't like. We were prepared for it to be in the middle of nowhere, which it is. I suppose you could say it is expensive for self catering. The onsite shop wasn't cheap, but it had almost everything you needed (juice/soft drinks lacking and no hot chocolate in room or shop), but it was in the middle of nowhere after all. Also the rooms and buildings are just beautiful and this justified the cost.

Beautiful peaceful location. Rooms well equipped (even had a clothes horse, iron and ironing board should you need them). We loved that it felt like having our own little flat. We also loved the access to the outdoor seating area, views of the night sky from the courtyard and views of the hills from the front (while also watching the farm animals on the farm).

The Location is good and its very relaxing at stables cottage, you can have lots of walks if you want to. The view and hot tub are fantastic and we really enjoyed it. Will return again in the future.
