Very good renovation of a large historical residence. The hard work has paid off. Private path to the beach was a surprise. The hotel sits comfortably in a pleasant Victorian area of the town with all facilities within a 15 minute walk.

Absolutely beautiful building and stunning location near the sea. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the 'bunker', which was secluded, well equipped, and spacious. Wish we could stay longer.

We loved so many things about this property, I'm not sure if I could ever list them all! I was traveling with my 75 yr old father and my 2 teenage boys and we stayed in the Dulsie and Grigor rooms. Everyone loved the stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by the most wonderful staff member- she showed us around and helped us make dinner reservations at a restaurant that was a beautiful 10 mins walk from the hotel through town (Aurora Restaurant, which was incredible!l!). We walked down to the beach through the back gardens and along the seashore, taking in the stunning sea views. After dinner, we played cards in the lounge with drinks from the honesty bar. The rooms and beds were probably the most comfortable of our whole trip. Overall, this wonderful hotel has treated us like royalty, and we truly hope to come back again soon!

Our family staying in the penthouse flat (4 bedrooms) and it was delightful. Just a few seconds from the North Sea beach and a 10 minute walk into town for a bite to eat. Then coming back to a roaring fire in the sitting room was just the right end to the day. Ryan, Sal and the rest of the staff were delightful and ever so helpful. A perfect stay!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. I am so glad I booked a room with a view. Breakfast was delicious and both the dining room and the lounge bar have beautiful views out to the sea. It was also a special experience to be able to walk down the the sea front via the lovely gardens.

Excellent location with stunning views. Stayed here to play golf in the area. Friendly staff, great advice on where to eat for dinner. Would definitely highly recommend.

Warm welcome, helpful and friendly staff. Easy walk through garden to beach path and a nice level walk to eateries which were recommended by the hotel. Room spotlessly clean and comfortable, felt slightly small but included seating area and was plenty of room for one night. Buffet style breakfast, plentiful and tasty. Parking in hotel grounds.

This place was wonderful. Staff was always helpful and super friendly. Big shout out to Carol who went above and beyond in her helpfulness and extreme friendliness. She was super engaging and had great tips. We had a rough trip in and she gave us a room with a lot of quiet so we could get some great sleep. She is absolutely wonderful! Rooms were comfy and lovely. The honesty bar was fabulous and fun to sit and play cards at. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect. Walking distance to town and restaurants and the beach.

I found the Invernairne to be exceptional in what it provides. The building is beautiful, I was welcomed on arrival thoroughly, I had a comfortable quiet stay, and checked in and out with no delays or confusion. Situated in idylic gardens right by the sea, I will not hesistate to return when in the area again.
