Breakfast was a little chaotic, with many items running out or unavailable. Staff were doing their best to manage everything during a busy time.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and stress free.

There were no salad options on the menu - although I'm sure the team would have pulled something together for me if I had asked. This would be nice for the calorie-conscious and for summer!

Lovely conservatory area overlooking the gardens. Staff were all really welcoming and friendly. Food was good.

The Staff are really friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities are excellent. The room we had 107 was large. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

The only let down for us was no bathrobes and slippers as shown on my picture of room and was only one chair to sit on the room didn’t look anything like in the picture but the bed was comfortable

The dining area and bar food was excellent and staff couldn’t do enough for you 😊the pool was great and very clean.

We had to ask to change rooms as it hadnt been cleaned. The staff sorted this straight away with no hassle and were exceptional at handling this.

Location - it was a nice setting with gardens surrounding the property. Also liked the fact that we were able to make use of the swimming pool. Evening meal was very good.

More variety of mains on the dinner menu or a rotation of the menu would’ve led to us eating there for dinner more often.

The location, staff and facilities that we used were all fantastic. We stayed for a ‘babymoon’ and staff even provided something for one of my cravings at about 11 at night! The food was delicious - we had breakfast there every morning and dinner for two nights out of five. Staff were attentive to dietary requirements/preferences e.g non dairy milk and vegetarian options. The room was comfortable and spacious. The pool was also lovely.

We enquired about a sandwich for lunch we were told we could have soup and sandwiches, which was ideal although the service was very slow all we wanted was a quick sandwich which for 2 of us took 40 minutes just too long

Staff and hotel were excellent. Room we were given was a great room but rather a hike with luggage etc and the outlook was poor

Overall, the hotel was pleasant but room looking tired. Heater had something splashed on it and carpet has seen better days, however, beds were comfortable and clean and it was nice and peaceful at night. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast not so good sadly. Continental was limited and although plenty of hot choices tomatoes were poor and fried egg was like rubber. Staff were trying to refresh quickly which was appreciated.

In the bathroom the shower was over the bath but there were no grab rails which made me fell a bit insecure. Also I would very much appreciated if there had been a lift as I found the stairs quite hard going especially carrying luggage up and down.

The room was very comfortable, I liked the armchairs with table.
