If being honest shower pressure could have been a bit stronger

Evening meal. Choice of 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts. Nothing like the fantastic menu last time we stayed a few years ago. The 3 small Potatoes were overcooked and inedible. Pork was ok but only vegetable offered was soggy broccoli.

Lovely room with amazing views in a beautiful part of the country. Excellent full Scottish breakfast.

Wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely, friendly staff. Having the front door opened for us on arrival and help to carry our luggage upstairs was an excellent start. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. The bar area and pool/ games room were a nice way to relax after a long drive. The breakfast was superb. Thanks to the gentleman that looked after us so well during our stay, and made our dogs welcome too- they are welcome everywhere in the hotel, even at breakfast! The hotel has a lovely outlook and is in a peaceful location. It was a good distance for a nights stay before our ferry at Mallaig the next morning.

The stay at Laggan Hotel gave me a true experience of Scotland and its’ unique culture. Loved the interior design of the hotel which is intensely Scottish. Was lucky to get a room with 2 windows at 2 sides of the room with amazing views at Cairngorms. Got literally spoiled with the breakfast which constituted of a few typically Scottish, delicious products. To add to all of that, Laggan Hotel is the most dog-friendly place I’ve ever visited. My dog, Gaia even got a tasty sausage! Thank you from both of us!

We arrived quite late but were greeted warmly and felt very welcome. It was no problem for us to have a drink in the bar. I loved meeting Ruby the dog. I slept really well-the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.Really nice coffee. Wide selection of cereals. I would love to come back.

Couldn’t find anything that I felt could be better

Breakfast was excellent, this is a friendly hotel open summer months and in a lovely location, the owners and staff try very hard and I had a great stay as always. It’s not five star but certainly value for money for what it is and I shan’t hesitate to stay again, stunning views from lounge windows and bedrooms.

The only thing that I didn't like was the shower pressure, but as this is a remote hotel with a private water supply there is nothing much that can be done about that!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. When we checked in after dinner service was over, the kitchen very Kindly went out of their way to provide us with a 3 course dinner. This was hugely appreciated after a very log day walking in the mountains.

It's true that the water pressure was low and the bedroom floor was creaky but neither was a big deal.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming even though there was a coach tour there at the same time. Our room (in a turret!) was vast and very comfortable and the views were superb. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were very tasty.

A lovely, traditional Highland hotel. Great value. Nostalgic décor and spotlessly clean. Manager very accommodating and friendly. Everything we needed for a pit stop breaking up the journey from north west to south east.

Not a lot!

Friendy efficient staff who catered for all our ( and our dog's) needs. Large bedroom, sitting area, shower room. All clean and comfortable. Ambience of hotel and views superb. Meals good quality with good selection.
