Lovely and clean and homely and welcoming. The staff at reception and in the bar were so welcoming and friendly it made my afternoon on the day of check-in. The breakfast staff the next morning were equally as nice and just added to the whole experience.

United KingdomWe couldn't get the shower to work properly, tried everything but only got a dribble really when on hot but if not on full hot it was just a cold shower and the sink didn't drain very well in the bathroom either minor faults but changed the result of my review.
the rooms are a good size, comfortable beds and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities well stocked . The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. It is close to where we needed to be and is a good location for the centre of Sheffield. We went to the Leadmill to see a band.

United KingdomOnly personal wish would be the ability to make the room just a little cooler. 1 degree cooler would facilitate a better nights sleep after a night on the town! But I sleep with my windows open all year round so I do like a cool bedroom. Bathroom slightly dated/basic but equally it did everything we needed of it and it was spotless.
Really blown away by this hotel. Did not expect it to be up to much considering the bargain price we paid. It was spotless, inviting, fantastic friendly staff and the added bonuses of a free coffee each and drinks and snacks in the room that we weren’t expecting either. Good toiletries in the bathroom, plenty of towels, nice quiet rooms and comfy bed. Fast and plentiful lifts. Great location for gig at the Leadmill.

United KingdomI would love a couple of coat hooks in the room,perhaps next to the wardrobe ? I have mentioned this in a previous rating.
Myself and my wife are regular visitors to Sheffield and always choose to stay at the Leonardo,had a great view this time looking towards Sheffield United F.C. We stayed in room 811 an Executive Room. I have done several of these ratings for this hotel in the past and once again there is hardly anything we did not like. We will always stay here when we come to Sheffield.

We love that we can get a room with a double bed and a proper single bed for our daughter. So many times, the 3rd bed is a sofa /z bed. The beds are superbly comfortable. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is amazing.

United KingdomOne tiny little thing - personally not a fan of the bath and I found the shower didn't quite offer enough consistent hot water. Not necessarily an issue for me, as I like colder showers, but the only thing that wasn't perfect in our stay!
Great location, just off the high street and only a short walk from train station. Wonderfully clean, good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and bedding, many facilities in room as well as plenty of space for clothing storage. The price was fantastic and so cheap for such quality. But the main thing - the staff were fantastic, kind, and incredibly helpful!

The room was very clean, bed comfortable, good shower, great not to have to request an ironing board and iron as already in the room( it’s the little things that I don’t necessarily think about when booking but realise when there) Friendly, happy and helpful staff, great breakfast and facilities.
