It was an ideal overnight stay ahead of attending a function the next day, but we would have been very happy to have stayed longer, or on another occasion.

Two people shared the attic / apartment and both agreed the water pressure was not acceptable for a shower. If the pressure cannot be improved we would recommend removing the shower entirely and only having a bath. Alternatively installing a pump to improve things as it is impossible in its current state. Also in the soaring temperatures we would suggest putting fans in the rooms as, again especially up in the top of the house the room is unbearably hot and the windows were too high for us to reach to open.

Hospitality was exceptional, lovely people lovely location. Very quiet and a lovely welcoming feeling. We were also allowed to check in a little early and let ourselves in quite late after being at a festival.

Lovely location, especially if you like horses. Everything was very clean. I had the shared bathroom, which was a large room with bath & shower. Meal at the Green Man was very good.

Very remote so a 10 minute drive to nearest town. But this would be a big bonus for a lot of people.

We had a little difficulty finding the property but that was our fault. We took a wrong turn and ended up in narrow country lanes.

A stunning property in an easily accessed location. Convenient for our wedding, Hitchin and Luton airport. Kind hosts welcomed us early to allow us to prepare for the wedding. Very much appreciated!! Instructions and keys/gate code clear and straightforward.

There was no mirror in the bedroom which meant going to the bathroom to do hair, make-up etc. The curtains need to be attended to as the pulley out of sight and they have been pulled apart which means they do not now close properly.

My breakfasts were very good. Do not eat meat so they did provide what I had asked for. Website did offer "continental breakfast" or full English but apparently that is not correct. Loved the location in the countryside and all the farm animals.

There was no indication given that there was a locked gate at the entrance of the property, I got to it and there was no indication how it worked. I tried to phone for assistance, but there wasn't any signal. It was supposed to be sensor driven, but my average sized car didn't trigger these sensors going in or out. There were some buttons on some posts either side of the gate which DID open the gate. I wasn't impressed that I wasn't told of this security gate or how to use it.

The shower head could do with some pressure - the bath mixer tap has good water flow.

Lovely warm welcome from Carol. Exceptionally friendly and helpful - we felt at home and welcome the minute she opened the door. Lovely vegan breakfast, beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our chat with Carol & Bob before we left. Beautiful location, out in the countryside with windows overlooking the grounds. Fabulous setting..
