Absolutely beautiful property. It's out of town so we were disappointed the restaurant wasn't open when we arrived as we had to go back to town to eat. The beach is beautiful & close by. It was a comfortable room & bed and just like the pictures and wirh an ensuite

Nothing really to dislike.

Lunan House has changed a little from last time I stayed from hotel to a Quality B&B at a very reasonable rate. The room I had this time was in the annexe with a view across the very well tended garden. The room was spacious with large double bed, work table, tea & coffee facilities. Bathroom had a shower cubicle with large soft towels and toiletries. Breakfast was in the diningroom of the main house and consisted of the usual cereals, fruits, toast, tea & coffee etc. Main breakfast cooked to order. In all this convenient point on my journey was pleasant and relaxing.

They have closed down the bar big bar at the hotel and now only offer Bed and Breakfast.The last time I stayed there we really enjoyed the bar meals

Think paintwork and decor needs refreshing.

Good location easy access to beach and nice grounds. A cafe at the beach but no dinner facilities at the hotel. But cafe closes at 5pm and this location is a little remote.

Hot water was sporadic. Rooms were comfortable but could do with upgrades.

Perfect location! Friendly staff who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. Great to be able to bring our dog too. Great value for money.

Comfortable warm room. Lovely area and grounds to wander around. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. Car parking. Only a five minute walk to Lunan Bay and beach.

The bedroom window was filthy on the outside, spoilt the garden view. The sink in the bathroom was very small and low and had to stoop down for a wash.

Excellent location, room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent, always cheery and welcoming. As was the breakfast and bar meal, the food was excellent.

We were there prior to the Bar and Grill being open, so a limited menu available in the evening.

Great location close to the beach. Amazingly helpful and attentive staff. Super breakfast. Comfortable bed. Having our 2 dogs was not an issue, allowed in all areas.

Cosy bar, good prices especially on the recommended and very nice local beer. Good selection and generous breakfast portions - set us up for the day. Rooms were clean and a good size, not ultra modern but in keeping with the location. Adding to favourites as will look to use again when in the area for golf - good quiet base in easy reach of neighbouring towns

Due to wedding fair couldn't get full use of bar and grill eating section however not really something that could be put as a dislike.

The staff were excellent really friendly and helpful, the location was beautiful and close to the beach. On an evening it was so peaceful and relaxing, breakfast included which is an added bonus. Definitely recommend

Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot. However, organizing the breakfast might need a little work. For example, it might be worth asking the guests in advance what they would prefer for cooked breakfast (e.g., at check-in, with a menu form printed and then left at the bar/box) so that there are not many delays or confusion in the morning.

It is in a rural area close to the beach. The room is very cozy and clean, and it has all the necessary amenities, including USB-compatible sockets. The bed is comfortable, and the bed linen has a nice smell.
