Not able to book evening meal,reception said should be able to serve around 8.30pm. Arrived at 8.30pm only to be told restaurant is shut.

Air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own. For some reason unknown to us the bed wasn’t made on our last night although they had been in and tidied up and replenished toilet rolls etc, didn’t bother complaining it was no big deal to us.

Lovely comfortable bed. Good size tv, didn’t use restaurant as just used hotel as base for touring the area.

Breakfast was good, but at times seemed to be a bit disorganised with people having to ask for spoons, tea etc, and the coffee machine being right next to the kitchen door! Parking a bit of a faff but OK when you get the hang of it! Do tell them if you are not using the car park - they assume that you are and charge you accordingly. Accessible room - there was no shelving in the bathroom (plenty of room for it), and only one small hook, not sure if this applies to all rooms, but this could definitely be improved.

Great location, right by the pier and town centre. Staff were all lovely, all with a smile on their face. Very clean and tidy. Lovely gardens and terrace on the front. Well maintained. Reception very helpful and efficient.

Breakfast and dinner choices.

The breakfast choices were disappointing. Very little fruit or cereal and no choices re cooked options. Restaurant options were also limited. Kitchen seemed to be catering mostly for coach parties who had a cheaper menu so independent travellers seemed to come second place.

Parking - it’s first come first served but can use ibis but if that is full like it was when we stayed we had to pay at sea front but to be fair we did get 1 day parking money back so thank you. At breakfast have to order hash browns at bar so finished breakfast before the hash brown turned up bit of a weird way to do it.

The fact that I am disabled when we booked in had to pay for parking for the whole stay but they could not guarantee me a disabled space I think you should be able to pre book a space if disabled

There's really nothing to dislike about my stays here.

The hotel looks beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. I especially love the walk in shower as I struggle with mobility. The temperature and shower pressure is the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. The breakfast has an amazing choice of hot buffet and cereals, fruits, meat, cheese and condiments. The restaurant does excellent food in the evening as well. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. This is where my partner now stay every time she comes to visit me in Paignton. The location is just 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and I'd across the road from the beach.

Paying £30 for my 2 dogs to stay and even did not get a dogs bed to sleep in or food or water bowls. We requested for these on 2 occasions and at no time did we get them. I call this a rip off.

The parking is expensive, and the spaces are narrow.

The location is excellent. The hotel seemed well cared for. The shrub and flower planting at the front of the building softened it's newness. The staff were friendly.
