Easy to collect keys, everything was perfect from arrival. Cottage had everything we needed, there was one main bedroom and shower room downstairs and one upstairs, which gave two separate families their own space to shower and sleep. Toys left for children, the weather was perfect so was able to have a bbq in the warm weather.

Mistletoe Cottage was perfect for 6 adults offering spacious living and sleeping space, whilst maintaining a cosy feel. The immaculate walled garden was a perfect space to enjoy the unusually sunny April weather that we had. The cottage's location was perfect for getting into York City centre, with a 30 minute bus ride, a 2 minute walk away. Finally, we were really appreciative of the provisions that our hosts left for our stay. I can honestly say that we have never been left that much on a self catering stay! We will definitely be visiting again

Everything was lovely.

The host had included all we could possibly need and everything was of high standard. The location was in a quiet village with friendly neighbours. We used all the bedrooms and all had very comfortable beds, one being ensuite and the other two were served by a shared shower room. The comfortable sitting room and kitchen area looked out onto a beautifully kept garden and patio area with furniture. We had beautiful weather so were able to enjoy the garden every day.

Mistletoe Cottage is an utter delight, a little oasis in the fast paced life we live. It is so charismatic, cosy and comfortable. We couldn’t wait to come back to the cottage having explored York in the daytime. Jayne is so welcoming and helpful. The cottage is so well resourced and there are so many unique areas in the cottage suitable for all the family. We loved playing dominoes at the table and waking up to the cheeping birds. It was so sad leaving but we hope to be back soon. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Lovely little town, 30 mins from York. Local pub delivers amazing bugers and roast dinners, we'd definitely stay again. We actually had a sudden illness resulting in a hospital stay. Jayne was so understanding when we were no longer sure about dates, etc. We really loved our stay, and appreciated their kindness.

Amazing location for visiting York. So cozy and comfortable. We had absolutely everything we needed for myself, my partner, two teenage boys and my parents. It was the perfect size. Slept like a baby. We used the park and ride into York which made it stress free visiting the city centre without worrying about parking etc. we enjoyed some of the board games in the evening. So so cozy and quiet. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you for having us! We will be back!

Jayne was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and offered some great advice for visiting the local area and there was even more information in the very detailed information pack inside. The cottage was beautiful and very clean and well looked after and in a great location. Could not fault anything with our stay and it would be a pleasure to stay here again on our next visit to York!

We only have good things to say about this cottage: it has room, it has all the amenities, it has a charme, and it was extremely clean & tidy. Completely equipped kitchen, 2 bath rooms, spacious rooms with lots of storage space, car parking in front, a quiet neighbourhood, a nice small garden out of sight from the street, ... The cottage is packed with information of things to do in the vicinity. There's a small supermarket at a 5' drive with very good opening hours, and you're very close to big roads leading to York (15' to the nearest Park & Ride) and surroundings. All exchanges with Jayne were very pleasant and warm - you can feel she really wants you to be at home there.

Lovely cottage with everything we could have wanted. Great spaces inside and out to socialise. Well equipped kitchen. Everything was high quality and comfortable. Great location for York and Yorkshire. Friendly welcoming hosts.

The location of the place was very nice, it looked something from a film, everything was so "british" just like you would expect. The host was very welcoming and helpfull.

Can honestly say, nothing. It was all lovely.

Beautifully presented cottage. Additional bonus was a lovely garden, including BBQ. Everything was provided that you needed, and little food extras provided were a lovely touch. Hosts were very friendly and informative about the local area. Couldn't ask for anything more really.
