On arrival after a 10 hour drive was told would have to pay £40 to check in an hour early! Also requested a secluded cabin did not want to be put near the play park or bar and we were put opposite the bar it was like watching something out of shameless when the emptied every night and noisy also trains very noisy. They did not listen to our request

Unfortunately, the double bed in the bedroom was rather firm. Left me and my partner feeling tired as it was uncomfortable to sleep on. But all other beds seemed fine as kids slept like logs 😂

Lovely little caravan site nice and quiet staff where very friendly, the caravan was lovely and clean with everything you could need a little shop on site had a few necessities, a nice area to stay for family's wanting a more layed back non WiFi adventure. Altho our phone wifi worked, it was hit and miss, so really ideal when you want your kids to have a little down time from it and get out to play and adventure. Also didn't overcharge for the 3 night stay which made us able to go about visiting other areas including Loch lomond

Busy train main line running past. No water on 2 mornings pipes frozen and when I mentioned this not complained just highlighted. I got a positive response from the guy and a " Well I am down the hill and I am OK"from the lady. Not quite the 10,/10 service they boast about.

Some of the interior fittings and fixtures didn't work and we felt it was missing a few things. This was not a reflection on the site staff though who were friendly and very helpful when we mentioned issues we had. Was near the railway line so trains going past were quite loud.

The caravan was reasonably new and was very nice inside. We would probably return. The price was very reasonable too. Used as a base for some days out. Beds comfortable and was warm and cosy too.

Could be more information when there are activities for kids.last year they informed us. And this year we missed it.

We really liked the location. It is the second year we have come back to the same place. And would love to come back next year as well. The accommodation is nice and clean, warm. You can have your own space there and explore around or you can meet others in bar. Halloween season there is fantastic.

Not that park can help it...but there is train line right next to it and cargo trains run throughout night.

Fully equipped with everything we needed. Deck to sit out on. Nice walk around woods straight from door. Close drive to main street.

Double bed was uncomfortable. Not much in the shop for quick snack foods but think that's due to the time of year.

Nice location, clean caravan, kids loved the park. A shame that the cafe/entertainment was closed.

No bar or restaurant open on a Sunday. No shop just Chocolate crisps etc sold at reception.

Great location for days out not far to travel to dumfries or local areas, very clean caravan almost brand new, kids park basic but new looking and clean. Very quiet site but can be a good thing.

Some of the facilities weren't open, but we were warned of that. They needed more staff in the bar - one guy on his own. Our caravan had some broken items - the dining bench leg was hanging off, one of the cooker rings didn't work. Didn't spoil our time there though.

The staff were lovely. Really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The caravans/lodges were spacious for the price. Location was great.

We were not aware of the cut off time for arrivals, which is 4pm. Luckily we arrived only 15 mins after that time but we did get a call from staff to check on us which was an unpleasant surprise. This is not indicated in the booking.com listing as of May2024. Good job we were nearby when they called. There is also nothing on the site except caravans, not a club house nor a shop, nowt.

Very clean and comfortable, brand new by the look of it. Very cheap and in a pleasant location with a nice pub in the nearby village. Moffat itself is cute and quaint and nearby. The wider area is stunning. An overlooked gem part of the country.

The gated compound is located at great location, in addition the surrounding area is good and safe for families with kids from different ages There are falls near the location only 20 minutes drive away from the compound. 19 minutes drive to Tesco supermarket at Lockerbie
