Room was in a need of a proper vacuum. Found left over wooden spoon on floor and ice cream sticks by the bed. Way to parking not clear. Got caught driving in a bus,taxi lane as navigation of postcode wasn't clear about parking. Expecting a fine.

We booked this hotel mainly for the pool and sauna, and while the sauna was great, the overall cleanliness of the facilities left a lot to be desired. The changing areas, especially the women’s, were poorly maintained—no staff in sight, no towels available, and hair in the pool with used towels scattered across the floor. It didn’t create the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for. That said, we still enjoyed our stay overall, but we feel the wellness area could really benefit from better upkeep and staff presence.

Nice clean room and bed, great bathroom with a bathtub and good diverse breakfast! The internet was okay and we quite enjoyed being able to cast from our phone to the TV.

Housekeeping staff

Clean and great facilities. The gents behind the bar were great and very friendly. Our checkout was at 12pm and the cleaner helped herself into the room without knocking and asked when we’re leaving. I thought this was very unprofessional.

The person who assisted me during check-in was astonishingly unwelcoming and rude. However, I enjoyed my stay as the facilities and breakfast were good.

The reception staff were excellent upon my arrival. The room was really clean and well laid out. The bathroom had a lovely bath with a separate shower unit. The Hotel is in an excellent location and I was impressed that the room was quiet during the night. The pool is certainly a bonus .

Unable to pay cash. The Hotel is cashless, but no prior notice of this was given and I didn’t have my card. Very minimal limited tea coffee sugar and milk, only enough for 2 drinks in a family room. The hotel was extremely warm over night even with the fans, so I struggled to sleep.

Great location with pre-bookable parking on site. Lovely pool open until 10pm with no booking require which was lovely to have 2 swims in a 1 night stay. Lovely comfortable and spacious rooms with big TVs, separate toilet to bathroom, kettle fridge. Clean, comfortable beds, with fan/heater. Very quiet for a big centred hotel.

Nothing at all about the property. I would say remember to book the car park otherwise it can be a bit of a chore walking to and from the nearest car park.

Rooms felt homely, cosy and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and very nice.

The car park was impossible to find from the post code given. I had to phone for directions after spending 20 minutes driving round, trying to fund it. I am sure Satnav took me into buses and taxis only zones, so beware. It is best to phone for directions as I couldn't explain them on here.

The large room and toiletries were good. Bed comfortable and shower brilliant. I'm not sure about the separate toilet with no sink, but ok for me as a solo traveller.

- Very hot rooms: temperature control ineffective; open windows helped with the heat, but the trade-off for that was a lot of noise coming in from the street - Carpet in the room needs deep clean or refresh - Very good quality breakfast but took a while for the staff to top up/replenish the hot buffet - The restaurant is very poor value for money (the mark-up on wines is something else!) but you have a lot of alternatives in very close proximity to the hotel - Shower gel bottle empty in the bathroom

brown stain marks on the white curtains in the bedroom this could have been cleaned prior to us checking in and being allocated the room drink stains on the wall above the sofa bed headboard room keys not working to get into the room despite us keeping the room keys separate from any mobile phones or magnetic devices, reception swapped out a key but the repetition of this when you are on the 7th floor isn't great

Great facilities, we used the swimming pool, sauna and steam room twice in our one night/two day stay. Situated in the town centre so very close to amenities. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We’d like to mention Marissa for this particularly.

The only small issue was the toiletries being fixed to the wall in such a way that it made accessing the contents tricky. I 100% understand why they are secured to the wall but I would bring my own next time.

I loved the accessible room. The layout was very helpful and the bathroom was brilliant with all the support rails
