Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom was too hot and the air con was noisy. There was alot of outside traffic noise. It was difficult to sleep in these conditions but the bed was very comfy. The swimming pool area was very slippy and hazardous. One the frames to get into the pool was unstable and the other one only had 2 steps and had to sort of jump off this to get into the pool, which was difficult if you have mobility issues. We upgraded our room to a suite which included complimentary prosecco, I had to ask twice for this to be sent to our room but staff were very apologetic and even called to apologise
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very accomodating and felt like they always put guests first. Room was very spacious and comfortable, bed was comfy although there was a blood stain on the duvet. We were celebrating a birthday and staff arranged a message on the mirror, cupcakes and balloons on the bed. We also received complimentary gifts too, which were very welcomed. We enjoyed the added extras in the reception such as the photobooth and popcorn. The location was really good and accessible to transport routes.

IsraelThe bathroom was tiny. The water pressure in the shower was non existing and on the second night the sink clogged for no apparent reason. Had to wait to about 11 the next day until someone came to fix it. Also, the hotel has zero noise control - you can hear housekeeping working throughout the flour and people talking in the hallway at all times
The room was OK, the bed great. The staff was mostly accomadating

SingaporeThe room could get quite warm even with the air condition turned on. Did not open the window as we lived at 4th floor and it could get very noisy.
We love the staffs at the hotel who are very friendly. My 4 year old got along very well with everyone of them. The location of the hotel was very convenient with the Holborn tube station a few minutes of walk away. There are a lot of eateries and convenient stores around the hotel as well.

CanadaThe bathroom in our room was extremely small with a poorly designed shower unit. I would rate the room itself a 9 or 10. However the bathroom is much lower rated. Nothing can be done about the extremely small size but something still must be said - bathroom is too close to the bed. The toilet is only a few feet away from the person in bed making it awkward if as a couple if one of you is in bed and the other on the toilet. Not very private - making the room more suited to one person, not two. Also, the shower is badly designed - no matter how you position yourself or the shower head, water is sprayed on the floor. Whoever decided on that layout never took a shower using those facilities. Consideration should be given to a different furniture layout in the room as nothing can be done to improve the size of bathroom. Otherwise the room was wonderful.
Location was wonderful. We walked everywhere and when we couldn’t the Holborn Tube Station was only a few minutes away. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who always greet you on the way in and out. The concierge was really helpful in directing us when one of us needed some medical attention. The breakfast buffet is fabulous and offers a wide variety of delicious options - a great way to start your day in London. The reception desk staff also provided much needed and appreciated help when our pre booked airport taxi failed to show on time.

BelgiumWhen we got back to the room at 23h00 we found there was no hot water in the shower. We called reception who said they would look into it and call us back, but nobody called us back...luckily by morning the hot water was working without any problems.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of London. Super friendly staff, rooms are very clean. Love the retro look of the hotel inside, and the breakfast was fabulous!

United KingdomThis is the second time I’ve visited this hotel, and unfortunately this time I felt like it had gone downhill. We were greeted with a birthday message on the mirror and cupcakes - which was very appreciated and a nice touch. Although …. The room was tiny - really difficult for two people to move around in together (mainly because the furniture and air con unit was big). The floor in the room was filthy though, which was horrible. I’m also assuming this room is above the tube and it was incredibly loud in our bedroom, every few minutes. We also had to contend with the deliveries/service area which also seemed very loud at times. We just felt we had been stuck in a bad corner of the hotel.
I love the decor. I love the vibe. Half of the staff were amazing - unfortunately let down by a couple. The room was comfortable and the bed very comfortable too.

United KingdomNoise outside the room early morning with bottles being collected/disposed of. The hotel was nice but the cost per night was high. The room was pleasant but nothing special. I disliked all the warning labels about additional charges in the room. It felt cheap to label everything. Although available having to request things such as a shower cap was inconvenient. I did however appreciate the range of items which could be requested, but the warnings about charges were very off putting.
Great location. Modern and quirky. Lifts good. Breakfast was very nice. The leisure facilities looked good but I was only there one night so did not use.
