Friendly, clean, good sized room, Sue and staff couldn't do enough for us, excellent breakfast, very affordable and good value for money. Even in the pub downstairs all the locals made us very welcome and part of the community. Our dog was made equally as welcome, with a sausage at breakfast and many treats in the pub from the locals

Not a criticism as such, but it might be an idea if there was some sort of curtain or blind to go over the door at night. The light coming in through the window was a bit intrusive. The website needs updating a little too, as we were led to believe that food was served, when in fact, it was only breakfast that was available.

The room was marvellous, we were put in the top of the separate annexe, quite luxurious and very quiet considering the was a karaoke night on one of the evenings and we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was hearty and filling. We weren't disappointed. Highly recommended.

The staff were very pleasant, especially a lady who helped me through. She was very apt and prompt and would always make sure that she answers everything politely and would go an extra mile to.make sure my stay is a memorable one. Rooms are sparkling as well and heating is also readily available. The place is also near to an off licence and easily accessible to non-drivers

Staff and clientele are all so warm and welcoming. The room (No 6) is a gorgeous place to stay in and relax. The cooked breakfast offered in the morning was a delicious, filling set up for the day. The varied evening’s entertainment where so much fun and amazed me how it catered for everyone.

Shame you cant get a meal in the evening, but they give lots of advice of where you can get food locally. Really didn't alter my opinion of my stay. Parking is directly outside and not obvious straight away when arriving in the dark. (these are small things and I had to dig deep to answer the question)

This was a last minute booking for a visit to a company about 3 miles away. The Lady who greeted me behind the bar was fantastic, she gave me a great welcome and explained room, facilities, breakfast etc. The locals in the bar were all very friendly and I had a very relaxing evening. My room was very clean, bed was comfortable, en suite was a good size, clean and very well maintained, In the morning I had a lovely cooked to order breakfast and greeting by the landlady. All round very pleasant stay. I will go back.

There was nothing not to like.

Oak Tree Inn was a great place to stay well located for the funeral I was attending. The staff and locals were really welcoming. The room was comfortable, with an unsuited shower room. However the best thing about Oak Tree Inn was the Full English Breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.

Staff were lovely and the cooked brekkie was superb, the shower wasn't very hot but was no biggie, the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home lol. All round lovely place and lovely staff would deffo visit again.
