This is a gem of a place! Run by very nice, attentive people full of gusto and attention to detail. The location is great for an easy walk to the town center, and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great - everything is fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend you stay here. This was our second time and we will definitely be back again!

I'm quite fussy and I can assure there was nothing I didn't like. Our stay was perfect.

Wonderful facilities, classy and absolute perfection. Tim and Teresa were brilliant hosts, very attentive and professional. Tim's Full English was 10/10. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

I really only have good things to say, we had a fantastic experience. The room was nice and looks much better in life than in the photos, it had all necessary amenities, as well as water, tea, coffee and even milk. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely great. Guest house is located in a very quiet area, but still easy walk to the Esplanade. Will definitely come back here again!

Only thing I'd suggest is allowing guests to connect on smart TV for Netflix, etc.

Great from start to finish. Wonderful hosts with quality breakfast. Convenient parking. Amazing idea with the honesty bar. Room was cleaned spotless every day. Quiet and a good night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at Oaklands Guest House from start to finish. Tim and Teresa are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious—beautifully presented with plenty of options to set us up for the day. A lovely personal touch was Tim coming out of the kitchen each morning to greet us and check that everything was to our liking, while Teresa made sure we had everything we needed with her friendly and attentive service. We stayed in room 5, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—everything you could want for a relaxing stay. A particularly special moment was when Tim and Teresa acknowledged our wedding anniversary with a thoughtful surprise: a tray with a card, glasses & Prosecco. It really made our stay extra memorable! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back—thank you, Tim and Teresa! Emma & David

This B&B is undoubtedly one of the best we've experienced in England – simply wonderful. Tim and Teresa are exceptional hosts, kind and incredibly attentive. Excellent Bed & Breakfast - one of the best we've ever stayed in anywhere. Wonderful, friendly hosts with excellent local knowledge, well-appointed and spotless rooms, great honesty bar and a high-quality breakfast. Just out of the centre of town, but easily walkable and away from the hustle and bustle.
