TV and sky box was a little old fashioned and difficult to use. I'm pretty techy but I gave up trying to get a TV channel. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle and decided not to bother. Make it really easy for people to use the T, please. I was tired and hungry when I arrived and didn't need the hassle of wrestling with it!

Breakfast is always cold. Eggs, in all my visits and bacon have never been hot, so much so, I avoid them. Yoghurt and fresh fruit lovely and great selection of Danish pastries.

I love the hotel, the rooms are lovely and staff are always accommodating.

The location of the property was perfect for me and I loved the architecture of the period building. It had great character.

Limited choice of mains, small portion of ice cream with a tasteless sticky toffee pudding. Bar staff very poor with taking orders and bringing drinks, having to wait 20 mins on both nights, no attention to detail.

Stayed for five nights and had the same menu. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal was expensive pub food. Key card only worked for one day at time

Gym staff were very bossy Room furniture was chincey and there was a smell of smoke in the room.

Love the hotel, location, facilities, grounds and the added bonus of it having a golf course and clubhouse. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food is restaurant ok.

There was a wedding on as it was a Saturday. There was a band playing which basically felt like it was in the room. It went on until about 12.10am. If they had given us a room on the other side of our corridor it would probably have been much better. We complained to reception about 11.30pm as we felt this was reasonable but we're told that it wouldn't finish until midnight. We paid quite a lot for the room and would have expected to be able to get to sleep as we had an early start

Breakfast room was lovely but the actual food was not great quality. Mass catering vibe and dried fries eggs under a grill on the buffet.

We stayed for one night after a funeral in the area. It was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Pillows where un comfortable...and the joint for the 2 beds was uncomfortable could do with an extra topper

Paying £200 deposit on top of the £300 for the two nights and it’s still not gone on my card . While other people were charged £50 for 2 nights . To be told they were charged wrong by new staff !!! Also was chewing on plastic when had breakfast . Took the said plastic and was told the chef had it !! Nothing else put me right off the breakfast!!

The room was a bit tired, but overall nothing to complain and I couldn't get any spa treatments, but that was my fault for not booking ahead.

Long walk to the room . The lift don’t go all the way to our floor, we been offered another room , but still long walk . My daughter was getting married and makeup artist was saying that not enough light in the room.

But what made me go down to breakfast is a beautiful kind helpful smiling energetic lady called Liz. She was so lovely , she made me forget the 300 miles I’m going to drive that morning ☺️👍😙
