How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not a thing! Everything was perfect!
The apartment was truly delightful. It was everything we wanted and more. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. There was staff daily to change bins etc and the owners were really easy to contact for any problems. We can’t wait to return!!!

Location was really good. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Apartment was perfect , clean comfortable and lits of extras . Biscuits , chocolate s milk , teabags coffee .

There was a refrigeration unit located directly outside the rear bedroom window. This only seemed to come on in the day. However, if it did operate at night, it would be difficult to sleep as the whole room vibrated! The kitchen drain had a really bad smell. We purchased bleach and flushed it which seemed to reduce the odour.
The size of the apartment was great. Very clean and well presented. We even had a selection of Easter treats and a card waiting for us on arrival, which was a very nice and unexpected touch. Everything was provided for in the kitchen and bathroom with good quality products at hand.

Lovely apartment - top of the apartment block so not great if you’re unable to climb flights of stairs. Location is great for the beach/restaurants etc and pretty quiet too. Bunk bed were great for our daughter and the main bedroom very spacious. We couldn’t get live TV which wasn’t a huge issue as could watch catch up but just something to mention. Coffee machine well stocked as well as milk and fruit on arrival.

The shower had weak pressure but this is expected given the floor level and it’s a hotel with multiple apartments.
Everything was well presented, tidy and comfortable. They cleaned everyday which was unexpected but a nice touch. They refreshed the coffee pods, etc. We were provided with fruit, milk and filtered water upon arrival, again a lovely touch. Keyless entry was pretty seamless and explained well.

Totally spotless and comfortable. Parking out the front if the building. All very easy. Just over the road from several places to eat and drink but still a very quiet place to stay. 10 minute walk to the beach.

Absolutely freezing when we got in the apartment, took hours to warm up, sat wrapped in blankets at night! (Was a lovely weekend, actually warmer outside) Also we paid for late checkout, but when we were packing up the car at 12.30 my husband wasn't able to get back in using the keyless system, must have expired at the regularcheckout time, would have caused real problems if we'd both left the apartment to pack the car.
Excellent location, parking very handy, lovely standard of accommodation. The little welcome pack was really appreciated. The bed was comfy too.

We had the appartment on the top floor which wasn’t ideal with a baby but we should have checked that first.
We loved the check in system where you open the doors using your phone. It was very clean, spacious and 5 minute walk into town. Coffee, tea, milk was provided. There was also washing up liquid, kitchen roll and shower gel.

Not a major issue (we had a door code anyway) but the online button would not open the main front door, opened the apartment door fine. We were a bit surprised on how small the kitchen/living area was!
Nice clean, well planned small apartment. Well situated for the centre and beach at St Annes. Good sized bedroom with very large comfortable bed. Nice shower/bathroom. There was a nice little patio area, would be good for summer.
