How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Amazing location perfect for exploring the city. The room was amazing and the restaraunt was incredible. The neat hit was the staff however, always helpful and ready to chat. Helped us out with anything we needed.

As with most hotels, there is no mirror to do hair/make up - just a small one on the desk would transform it into a dressing table. The full length mirror is great, but not practical for this.
Staff were so helpful. Hotel is in a great location and decor is amazing! Really nice bar and delicious breakfast. We had an issue with our bathroom as we were going to bed - called Reception and were allocated another room immediately, even though it was after midnight.

Service in the bar on Saturday night. Not helpful, closed the bar early as short staffed and hotel management didn’t seem to care. Not what I expected of a radisson hotel

Even though we were in a quiet corner of the hotel (room 230), the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared to be running all night, even with the door closed and the light off. As a light sleeper this was disturbing. This was mentioned to staff at checkout.
The convenience of the hotel to the rail station, and the theatre. The ambiance and feel of the hotel was different than a normal chain of hotels which made for a more pleasant stay. The staff on check in were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was amazing but could have included toiletries such as disposable items only as other places have provided these before but no complaints overall.
Right next to a train station and the town centre, beautifully designed and set up.

In room coffee selection was quite basic, considering price of room. Even though there's a very nice coffee machine the pod selection is minimal. Shower leaks all over the bathroom floor. TV didn't stay tuned in, but no real issue for us as we weren't in the room long.
Wonderful building, lots of character inside too. We upgraded as it was a special occasion so had a lovely view across the city. Room was spacious, comfortable bed & great shower! Great location for exploring Liverpool.

No drawer for clothes in bedroom. Open wardrobe lacked shelving at the correct height. Bottom shelf too low and was used to reach and access the safe and top shelf.
Great location for ease of access to trains/buses and shops/restaurants. Spacious room and bonus that en-suite had walk in shower. Fabulous entrance, very friendly and accommodating staff, really enjoyable breakfast. Liked all the pictures with the splash of Red.

The burgers from the restaurant at night were frankly very priced and very average
Breakfast was superb, room service from the restaurant less so. Room was good. Staff wonderful and very responsive to issues

Fantastic hotel, right near the train station which was good for us, and in the heart of the city, didn’t eat in the evening there but the breakfasts were good, would definitely recommend this hotel and would use again.
