I dont mind the walk but may be too far out of the City for some. But bus is on the doorstep so not an issue. Walk is 45mins

It should be noted that the hotel is not air conditioned. It was 26C in Oxford during our visit and our room remained comfortable enough at night, but this might be a consideration for some guests at the height of summer.

The Remont hotel is very conveniently located close to the A40, and is on a main bus route which takes only 10 minutes to reach Oxford City centre. We parked (for free) at the hotel and then used the buses exclusively during our stay in Oxford. The room was comfortable with a good sized bathroom, the towels provided were large and fluffy. Breakfast was particularly good and substantial, with friendly service.

Bit far from Oxford centre but we drove in and parked and looked around that way.. parking was pricey but it worked for us.

Good sized room and very comfortable bed. Parking was good. Walking distance to Summertown with restaurants and shops. Great breakfast. Good value. Good access from the ring road.

No lift and since my room in 2nd floor and also bring big luggage, it’s bit difficult to go in room.. but the staf so kind to help me carrying out the luggage

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable, clean rooms, updated with modern decor and super comfy bed, though still like many medium/small town hotels in terms of layout and facilities. Excellent cooked buffet breakfast in bright modern dining room.

The decor and paintwork are tired and well worn and in need of a refresh, but was very clean.

The staff were really accommodating and provided a second mattress for the sofa bed. The whole place was very clean and breakfast was a highlight - superb.

Alex was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Greatly exceeded any hotel service person I’ve ever encountered. Her exceptional work ethic and cheerful demeanor greatly improved our stay.

Only issue was that the fire alarm went off at 3.15am! It soon became apparent that there was no fire (fire brigade did not turn up..) but it took ages for the alarm to be switched off so the night's sleep was effectively ruined. Of course safety is the absolute priority, but perhaps this could have been better handled with some gesture of goodwill. Otherwise all good!!

Good value comfortable and pleasant hotel conveniently situated just north of Summertown, with good parking, which is essential in Oxford. Room and bathroom were comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was excellent. Definitely will return.

Rooms were fine but could really use a refresh. Beds were a bit saggy. Shower was fine for us but would be very difficult for someone older or with physical limitations.

Convenient location with easy inexpensive bus service into Oxford. Park your car for free and leave it so you can relax. Breakfast was also good.

Room had 3 single beds, so myself & my sons could share a room. Staff are helpful & breakfast was good. Free parking

The bathroom--particularly the shower/tub--was hard for us to navigate, even as able-bodied 30-somethings. We stayed in a twin room near the breakfast room, so perhaps other rooms have more manageable showers, but ours was a tub/shower combo that was elevated from the floor by about a foot. We had to step over the high wall of the tub and basically do an upward lunge to hoist ourselves in, all while saying a little prayer that our foot wouldn't slip in the tub. To boot, the shield for the water wasn't terribly effective, so the floor got all wet. I nearly slipped while getting out, and my life flashed before my eyes!

The young woman who greeted us both on arrival and at breakfast was delightful. The rooms were simple, clean, and relatively comfortable, and there was plentiful parking. The breakfast was the best we had on our 2-week stay--the hot and cold options were plentiful and delicious.

Very friendly welcome. Second time have stayed. Great location and lovely breakfast. Shower curtain needed to be cleaned - mould at bottom. A bit of a shame and easily fixed.

Twin room was a little small. Although separate bathroom was nice size.

Close to Oxford just off main road and only 15 min by regular bus service which has stops nearby Hotel. Summertown only a 10 min walk away. Beds very comfortable and good bathroom and shower. Free parking a nice bonus. Breakfast was really nice, staff welcoming and helpful.
