I wish I had asked for a ground floor room. A lot of stairs and you have to carry your own cases.

The staff, hotel and food couldn’t have been better.

Breakfast and evening meal finished too early for us, but that seems to be the thing in the parts of Yorkshire we went too, pubs in Whitby closed up by 10pm on a Thursday, seems odd when there were lots of people still around.

My partner said the room set up for make up & hair was the best of any Hotel we've stayed in, great lighting, sockets next to the mirror, vanity unit and chair so often were moving mirrors around closer to sockets or stretching hair dryer leads to their max.

We enjoy a garden but so near to the sea front compensated for the lack of this.

The property was spotless, although a little dated it was charmingly light and airy. Every thought had been given to guest needs and comfort.

The only 'quirk' was had to resort to going downstairs re WiFi to Reception Area- spoke with staff- seems boosters should have worked in bedrooms.

Clean- convient from Center on bus routes for Walks. Staff helpful and friendly.- knew local walks. Breakfast service great.

Absolutely lovely place, staff are fantastic. The whole place was spotlessly clean and literally 3min walk to the sea. Breakfast is table service with great staff who are attentive without invading your privacy. There is also free parking at the hotel.

    Literally nothing.

What a fabulous hotel - very clean and quiet and with staff who were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely top floor room (deluxe double room 22), which was perfect for our needs. Dinner was really good and we loved the traditional way that we had full waitress service and that the side dishes we ordered were served in trays for us to serve ourselves from, just as it was in times past. By no means an old-fashioned hotel, this was just a lovely traditional style venue that we would 100% recommend and visit again.

A lovely quiet, friendly and warming traditional seaside B&B that also catered for gluten free options. The highlight was the now rarely experienced at table service breakfast with the most exquisite silverware set. Traditional but brought a lovely sense of calm to breakfast unlike many chains where the breakfast buffet are chaos. Def would stay again. Thanks.
