Carpet in the bedroom badly fitted. Shower door doesn’t open completely as the heater is on the way .

The staff greeted you with a smile and a lovely welcome. We booked for dinner in the hotel restaurant, the steak was amazing and was delicious. Loved watching our steak being cut and then chargrilled. Breakfast was tasty and service very good.

A suggestion maybe in winter in the lounge area,place two or three comfy chairs around the fire to encourage staying guests to sit and take coffee/ drink .

I liked the decor very stylish a clean look. A welcoming entrance lobby with the large square table. The downstairs area was separated in to lounge, bar restaurant very subtly.

The major draw back is the lack of parking. There is nowhere to even drop off your luggage without blocking a road and the car park is expensive although free overnight until 8.00am. An armchair in the room would be appreciated as would a slightly larger TV. And a socket closer to the bedside table. Also some form of heat such as a heated towel rail in the bathroom would take the chill off. Maybe a few comfortable armchairs in the lounge.

The Staff were delightful, the friendliest, most helpful people and nothing was too much trouble. Mind you, the hotel was very quiet and I don’t think there were many, if any other guests. They had been open only a month and were still renovating some areas. They were so flexible re check in; due to a mix up on my part they thought I was arriving at 4.00am and had arranged for me to let myself in at that time! They supplied an electric heater as the radiator in my room was not getting warm. It also was lovely to have the choice of a bath or shower. The full English breakfast was perfectly cooked, especially the poached egg. I checked out but was able to leave my case until the afternoon to collect. Everybody looks for different things in a hotel room but it was fine for my purposes. It was clean and comfortable

Some more information on nearby parking prior to booking would have been good. Some more suggestions for parking spots would have been nice.

I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good, and the room was perfect for a short stay.

Bathroom door didn't have a lock on it therefore wasn't able to shut it for privacy. Would be nice to provide bottled water...

It wasn’t a dislike but the TV could do with updating as there was no guide on the controls and so had to guess what was on each channel. However the TV worked which was the main thing.

Located a five minute walk from the harbour. Clean throughout the property. Lovely cooked breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Over bath shower was powerful. Lovely stay, would go back again.
