Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThere were things that did not meet my expectations, a lot of little things. For example, there is a washer and a dishwasher. Dishwashing tablets were provided, but no laundry tablets. It's like giving you a TV and no power cord. Most travelers do not bring along laundry soap. Even a couple of tablets would have been welcome. We ended up buying detergent at the Tesco, but we didn't need all 36. No napkins or paper towels, just one tea towel, which most people don't consider wiping their mouths on. Lots of cheese graters, but no salt or pepper or tea. Just small omissions. The check in process was difficult -- they insist on a refundable deposit with verification from the bank to complete check in. It was onerous and time consuming, especially given the demands of travel.
The location was excellent. It really can't be beat. The facility was clean. Once we got into the apartment, response from the host was prompt.

United KingdomThere was some faff before checking in as they required proof of charge to my card / account by asking for a screenshot which you are unable to do. I eventually was able to get a colleague to take a picture of my phone but advance notice of this would help as I had already left home. In terms of the accommodation, bed was on the smaller size - I was on my own so fine for me but had my husband been with me, may have been too small

Quite spacious for London accommodation and very quiet (our apartment faced an inner courtyard - no view). Well equipped. Right next door to the Vauxhall station, so easy access and about a half hour to get to most of Central London.

United StatesEnsuite bathroom shower has black mold. Tiles and doorframe need bleached & cleaned. Shower head had hard water chalk and also severely needs cleaned. (Cleaning fee/service could easily remedy this problem) Bedrooms are on the street side of the apartment. The traffic and sirens were very loud all thru the night, moreso than NYC. Older building issues, so take earplugs.
The location was perfect. Lots of variety in cuisine. Crossing the bridge makes sightseeing tourist attractions walkable. Nice space, apartment had ample room for me and my son. Very quite neighbors. Great balcony view. Living room, kitchen and bedrooms were clean. Very prompt staff/email replies for arrival meet up.

GermanySome things were dirty or broken, the sinks of the bathrooms for example were dirty and should have been cleaned properly before our arrival. The water didn't flow down the drains either, it was partially blocked I presume.

AustraliaBusy and noisy location. Apartment is quite small. Bathroom was small and had no room in the shower/bath to keep soap/shampoo etc. Window covering insufficient to stop the light filtering in which could be an issue in summer when days are longer.
Great location with ready access to the Tube and Trains. Also to Uber Boats on Themes. Good amenities including kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Clean and tidy apartment with two separate air-conditioning for badroom and lounge/kitchen. Secure access to the building and roomy lift.

United KingdomWe would have appreciated a slightly more prompt hand over of the keys when we arrived; fortunately we were also provided with a key code that enabled us to wait in the lobby out of the wind. A quick response was provided when we called to seek assistance. We would have also appreciated a greater selection of crockery - something easily remedied - as the provision was limited. The selection of pots and pans was more than adequate but an appropriate non-serrated kitchen knife for vegetable preparation would have made our lives (as vegetarians) a lot easier!
The location was excellent, exactly what we needed, with strategic transport interchanges for tube, bus and train directly outside the building. The views from the apartment were amazing and we were treated to splendid dawns and sunsets over the city. The kitchen appliances are of good quality that met and exceeded our expectations based on our experience elsewhere. The support from the host organisation was efficient when required. It is worth noting that, notwithstanding the location, traffic noise was not an issue.

AustraliaThe property wasn't cleaned properly - carpets not vacuumed, two big bags of used linen in the laundry cupboard that weren't collected for the whole week we were there, I had to move them to the hallway so I could get to the washing machine. There were dirty pots/pans in the cupboard - we had to clean several pans that were used/greasy before we could use them. The ensuite bathroom also had clogged drain issues, could only run shower at a low pressure to avoid flooding the bathroom. There was quite a process to pay and prove our payment - sending copies of bank receipts and passport photos. Not sure of this is normal for London?
