It was just uni accommodation, and basic, at that. I didn't realise this when I booked, as Booking.com did not specify that it was on a current university accommodation block. There were eight rooms to a shared kitchen. And whilst the kitchen was well-stocked, other guests had ignored the signs to keep it clean. I didn't see/hear anyone else in my "apartment" whilst I was there, so the cups may have been sat in the sink for a few days. The guy on reception muttered to the other guy "I forgot about the hotel", which suggests it wasn't well-used. The shower temperature wasn't adjustable - it was just stuck on one temperature. I had to clamber under the desk to reach the only available plug socket. Also, the switch to turn on the lamp was under the desk, and the lamp was the opposite side of the room to the bed, so it couldn't be used as a bedside light.

Cheap, with private, ensuite bathroom. Located 10 minutes from where I needed to be.

The only thing that could of been improved would be an undersheet on the bed so that its slightly more comfortable. The bed had a thin cover sheet on the mattress but it wasn't super comfy. However that is only a very small complaint of a comfortable and affordable nights sleep.

Good services with a kitchen and free teas and coffees and clean furnished room to stay in. Good value for money in a nice location.

The room was very cold with no way to heat it up. I couldn't find a way to make the TV change from the radio, but that wasn't super important. The opening hours for the shop on the info were incorrect, which was a shame as I really needed a coffee! The noise from the room across the hall kept me up pretty late. It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so you will need a car.

It's essentially like a basic Travelodge or similar, except with a shared kitchen area. The bed was comfortable, checking in and out was easy, there's parking.

Rm 15- The shower was hard to adjust. Hot for 20 secs, cold for 20 secs and repeat to end of shower use. Poor! A deep clean is required in kitchen and bedrooms (I had two rooms for family use). No clean linen or clean towels forthcoming even though we were there for 6 nights! Nb linen /towel change was described as being left out for use in accommodation details after every 3 night!! TV in Rm 14 not working. Doors self closing made a racket unfortunately!

The cost was very reasonable. Comfortable and very warm and cozy. Kitchen facilities very good for self catering. Great grounds for family and pet walking. This is a lovely scenic area but may be a little isolated for some people. Great shop on campus with lovely friendly staff. Keeps long hours for it's customers!

There was a slightly stale odour to the unit I stayed in. The addition of an armchair to the bedroom would have been a welcome addition. The grouting in the wet room was slightly mouldy in places. Some of the doors were very heavily sprung and could be quite noisy, A bit impersonal and soulless

For the price, a good, clean and comfortable place to stay - I've paid more for places far less pleasant to stay. Very impressed that no fee was charged for my two dogs. The grounds were very pleasant, with plenty of places to sit. A basic kitchen to prepare and eat food is a good facility to have.

King bed would be better as double is short for 6ft plus people! Breakfast options. It was noisy but that’s not your fault. It was other guests.

It would have been good if breakfast was on the next morning. Room was fine for the price it was. I wouldn’t have wanted to pay any more though. Flooded kitchen on arrival. Paper thin walls with neighbours partying at 2am. Mattress of waterproof texture that was hard to sleep on. Bathroom fan never serviced with filter blocked and run on time of 60 mins. Restaurant that only opens Thurs - Sunday

Too hot Bathroom a bit mouldy and dated Check in was terrible …. Staff were locked out of computer and couldn’t confirm our booking as had no password! They had to ring around for ages before able to check us in. Felt so sorry for them. They were security/night staff and tried so hard!
