External door to room in new external extension building was left by customers to bang shut. Perhaps signage on r a slow closer would rectify this?

The en-suite toilet and shower were rather cramped, whilst the washbasin was in the bedroom.

The hotel is located close to the railway station and is a short walk from the town centre. The room was very clean and comfortable and there was no intrusive noise. The bed was very comfy The hotel is a popular eating place and that is not surprising given the quality and range of food on offer, including a good choice of vegetarian dihes. The service is quick and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. All the public areas are well maintained and the whole hotel has an air of freshness.

Everything about our stay was easy and inviting. We took the train to Elgin and just walked a few minutes up the road (there is a well-paved sidewalk for roller bags) to check in. The first level of the hotel has a bar and large restaurant and it is all very warm and welcoming. The rooms are each unique and have the basics of what you need. A few minutes walk from the hotel is a cute town with a bunch of restaurants. Check in was quick and check out was even easier (just leave your key at the front).

I could hear the guests upstairs every word as if they were in the room with me.

The staff where incredible. Very helpful when accommodating my 8 month old. The accommodation/room we had was perfect, having it's own access door with no stairs at the side of the hotel. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked.

The staff was friendly and went the extra mile! They took the time to ask questions and felt welcome. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The choices for food from the restaurant was excellent and was reasonable priced! Definitely if I am back in the area will be staying there hands down!

Missed having a guests lounge but obviously the space is needed for guest facilities such as dining, etc.

Breakfast was perfect and choice was great. Only little criticism as that a bit more Scottishness would have been a nice touch especially for overseas visitors.

Excellent choice for breakfast. I had beautifully prepared and presented full breakfast. Served piping hot and was delicious. The room and en-suite were spacious, clean and beautifully presented.
