The location was a little way from the centre, but still walkable if you are able

The hotel was exceptional, all set out in the theme for Alice in Wonderland, with a few little extras, There is a kettle and condiments in the room along with an iron and tabletop ironing board. Bedroom with bathroom was clean, only downfall was light in bathroom was on a timer which only lasted about 30 seconds, and you had to wave your arm about for the sensor to turn the light on. The downstairs bar toilets are surprisingly unique, its a must see experience But on a whole the hotel was amazing, with a bonus of free parking. Checkin wasn't until 3pm, but the hotel allowed me to park from early arrival.

The room needed updating didn't really feel it was the same standered as the rest of the place. It was very pink but needed a mirror and chair in the main room to do hair and make up as had to do it sat on bed in my tiny mirror. Maybe could do with a few more themed items in there to remind the guest of where there staying.

We loved the theme and the quirkiness of the place was fun to stay there.

Dirty dusty room didn't look like it had been cleaned for a while room112 had stains on carpet dust all over fouposter bed and dirty windows marks on bed covers.

Didn’t have shower or bath because didn’t want to use towels because if you marked them you would be charged £10 Also the light in the bathroom as a timer on it and kept going off if you didn’t move about enough which is not good.

Upstairs the bedrooms are form over function trying to keep with the theme " Alice in Wonderland" initially it all seems quite quirky but then you find the furniture is inadequate, our bed was a nightmare to get in and out of just too high with thick wooden rim around the mattress. No mirror on the dressing table and no where to sit in the room at all !! Furniture is recycled and painted to a theme which is great but way too big for the room. The bed side lights were behind the bed headboard so couldnt reach them which meant walking back to the door to switch lights on and off, not ideal fumbling your way back to the bed in the dark. The tv remote had some faulty buttons, hard to change channels. The view from the window would have been nice but couldnt see it as the double glazing was blown and windows full of water. Bathroom again bit dated, shower over bath and no grab rails very dangerous, shower worked in a fashion. Was clean though and all usual soaps available

The hotel has everything you could need downstairs, great bar and food, breakfast was amazing, loads of comfortable seating and the decor us a feast for the eyes. Parking is plentyful and safe

Really quirky decor everywhere! Large bath and shower with lots of hot water, comfortable bed. Really good value for money and close to seafront.
