We don’t eat large breakfast so didn’t feel it was value for money, we enjoyed what we had though. Younger people with a good appetite would find it good value.

We've made this little gem of a hotel our go-to when we want, comfort, cleanliness, great food, welcoming and friendly staff, and brilliant access to all of the Lakes. The last time we stayed, one of the staff disappeared when she overheard my grandaughter singing happy birthday to my husband. She came back a couple of minutes later with a big slice of chocolate cake with a birthday candle in it and wished him a happy birthday too! We love our trips to the Melbreak!

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, both at reception and in the restaurant. The food was great, fresh and tasty. The service was warm and attentive. The entire hotel had a relaxed and inviting feel, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
