It was like stepping back in time away from the busy noisy life we have today. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The decor was delightful.

I only stayed for the two days but wish I had been able to stay longer. The hotels gardens were impeccable kept. Such a beautiful relaxing place. The food was amazing, presented to a very high standard. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel perfectly located slightly away from from the busy areas yet very accessible. The afternoon tea and breakfast was superb. The staff definitely go the extra mile for you. Very clean and well maintained with its original character. Thank you for the upgraded room and we would definitely return and also recommend to friends and family.

I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our holiday feel really special. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with top-quality food served in an elegant and charming setting.

Luxury at an affordable price, and in a terrific location. There is a certain old-world charm to this place and the staff were a delight! I sincerely hope I can return to stay again sometime. Highly recommended.

Everything.. staff was really friendly. Gieta was really friendly and helpful and also very Joly person .. I loved my stay and would recommend this hotel. Would advice that the rooms should either have a fan or ac . We go very hot i ask the hotel need a fan and on the same day they gave me a fan .. was very impressed

The staff went extra mile to make us feel welcome and congratulated on my son’s 18th birthday. We got a better room than we booked and an amazing plate with the treats from the restaurant.❤️

Unfortunately the bathroom let the room down. Although the hotel is 4 star, when we went into the bathroom you felt as if you’d been downgraded which was a bit of a shame. However it was clean, just a bit tatty and not what you would expect. It felt as the room had been refurbished but they’d forgotten to do the bathroom.

A great stay with a nice room. Great location in a beautiful old building. Very friendly staff and breakfast was nice.

The car park was full so we had to park round the corner in the hotel’s annex car park. Next time I’d book a disabled space.

It’s a beautiful building which has been maintained really well. It has been decorated beautifully in keeping with the style of the building. Our room was perfect with lots of space.The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely. We will definitely stay there again.

Would have liked to have stayed longer.

The only minor thing was on the way in to the hotel I didn’t recognise the entrance to reception, because you entered via an area where people were having ‘cream teas’. I walked by this & went around the side before coming back and asking the waiter… It was clearly behind him, but maybe a sign would be helpful.

It was beautiful & elegant, the staff were lovely. We only had breakfast, but the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade. We would definitely stay again & maybe bring our dog as we were told they are welcome in some areas & rooms.
