Stunning hotel, absolutely fantastic staff and a perfect location overlooking the sea!! We will never stay anywhere else in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The food was delicious, the outside seating areas were great with an amazing view! We arrived in full hot sunshine and sat out all afternoon with drinks, overlooking the beautiful beach. We had a dog friendly room, which felt lovely and self contained, with patio doors to get out if you didn’t want to walk through the hotel. Perfect for pets! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were cheerful, friendly and attentive! Thankyou and see you again soon!!

United KingdomOur room was on the second floor. There is no lift. We were taken to the bottom of the stairs and told your rooms up there. We asked about luggage assistance and we were well your room has a great view that is the price you pay...sorry. fortunately on check out Paul was passing and carried our case down. Which was kind. This should be a standard in a hotel with no lift. Also we were half board and the kitchen had a maintenance issue and half the dishes were not available. These things happen but there was no apology infact staff were rude and dismissive in their explanations. And had the cheek to bring us a bill for 11 pounds as we had exceeded the half board allowance. Mum has an allergy and could only have that dish, which was mediocre.
The hotel was centrally located. It was cosy and well appointed.

United KingdomLovely hotel in a great position. Rooms very clean and have everything you need. Good food (enormous portions). Would have given this hotel full marks but the bar/terrace facilities is open to the public so makes it very busy at times. Couldn't get a seat in the bar until later in the night. We were there on Mothers day and couldn't sit and have a coffee in the bar area in the morning because all tables were set up ready for Mothers day bookings. The hotel isn't a cheap one to stay in and I feel the facilities aren't always available to the people paying to stay there. Terrace area often reserved for private parties.
