We got a beautiful spacious room in this cute little town called Cricklade. Eating at the hotel’s restaurant is NECESSARY! We had an incredible meal, truly unbelievable.

Very nice inn with friendly owner. The room was clean and spacious. The Thai restaurant behind the inn serves delicious and freshly prepared food.

We are walking the Thames and were greeted on our arrival with sympathy and understanding! It’s a Sunday night I was quiet and we ate at the hotel. The food was delicious fusion cooking all fresh and delicious. Drink making facilities in the room, but no biscuits. A good place to stop if you’re walking the Thames.

The hotel is right on the high street, so it is handy, although Cricklade doesn't offer much, which is a problem when you can't check until after 5pm. It's old, with very creaky flooring, and wouldn't suit customers seeking quiet. However, it's good value and I'd be happy to return.

    Nothing.

The hotel is in an old building on the high street very close to St Sampson's church. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the evening meal was good. I stayed in a single room that had a very low roof beam that I had to duck under. This was fine for me but might have been a bit trickier for someone who was 6 foot tall. There wasn't a separate bathroom, with the shower, toilet and sink being in the same room as the bed. As it was a single room I was fine with this and actually really liked the room. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the price was good.

Based on the value for money, there is little that should be criticised.

The premises were in a good location; room, bar & restaurant were all very pleasing and Mark, the Manager, was very personable & helpful. Definitely value for money.

Exit in morning is via a spiral fire escape at the back as the bar is closed. I only had a small shoulder bag. Had I had a case, and with it raining this would have been very dangerous. Anyone older or less mobile would have had an issue with this. Maybe look at exit via the main door.

Small, friendly hotel. Owner showed me to my room, how to get in and out etc. Room clean, warm and comfortable and at back of building so quiet.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had a delicious home-cooked dinner! The room was cosy and clean, and the bathroom was recently refurbished. Free parking was just a one-minute walk away. 100% recommended. I will book again if I need to stay in the area.
