There wasn't anything I didn't like

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good although I would have preferred real tomatoes rather than plum tomatoes and it could have been hotter. However apart from that the staff were very friendly and it was a lovely stay.

Looked a bit tired. Carpet worn in places throughout the hotel. Mattress was soft with springs that "boinged" everything I moved so not the best sleep

Welcome from Reception staff excellent, lots of advice on best directions/timing to get to our final destination. Room provided bottled water Bathroom done up and beautiful with provision of flannels as well as soap, shampoo etc

Nothing really other than the mobile signal and wi-fi connectivity was at times poor, but given the nature of the building and location this was understandable. We were informed by the helpful reception staff on arrival the best ways to keep connected during our stay.

Very comfortable rooms, my brother's room was easy access as requested, All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was hearty and very tasty. The availability of food throughout the day was excellent, we had dinner on both evenings, which was well cooked, nicely served and good value. The outside space around the hotel is lovely and well maintained.

Great location, short walk in to the village. Good choice of breakfast and meals, food was delicious. Rooms clean and bed comfortable with blackout curtains. Bar prices cheaper than local pub.

Window frames in the bedroom & restaurant need a really good clean. Room was serviced but not hooverd & bathroom not cleaned . Slipmat for shower full of mildew as was the shower seal, underneath the shower trap filthy

Staff were brilliant could not be more obliging and extremely pleasant went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Food is good and plentiful, would highly recommend and if in area again no hesitation in booking again.

The carpet was quite old and looked dirty, so footwear needed. The shower head was old and had limescale on it. Mugs for tea/coffee too small.

Had to drive to a function so in our case the location was a bit awkward.If the function would have been at the hotel it would have been excellent.

Plenty of car parking available.Friendly staff so easy check in.Well stocked room and clean.Great bar with lots of choice and reasonable prices.Lovely setting so l can see why people would get married there.

The room had outdated furniture. The windows are old and drafty.

It was a pleasant surprise to see a hotel property in this area which was built in 1800s but so well maintained. It has a fairly large car park. The staff receptionist Caitlin welcomed us. She was wonderful. She upgraded our room. Our room No 26 was superb with a bedroom and another sitting room with modern facilities with a wall mounted electric heater in the sitting room and a split AC in the bed room. The bathroom was good size with a shower and a bath tub separately. It had a TV on the wall above the bathtub. Great luxury. The bar area is good too.
