Nice stay but wouldn’t go back because of the sound invasion in your room.

The only thing letting the stay down was how thin the room walls are, you could literally hear everything from the other rooms and cars on the main road. Crying babies and baby making attempts felt like they were sharing our room. Shame as if not for this then could not fault the stay, but not being able to sleep is a big negative.

Staff were incredible, views epic and food very good.

Menu at dinner was slightly limited for me as a vegetarian, but the food was delicious. In the room, we could hear the TV faintly next door and the dog barking in the morning. I personally found the bed a bit too hard/firm for my liking.

Breakfast was fabulous! The manager was super friendly and helpful.

The lighting in the room and bathroom very poor. In the evening, when you are getting ready, there was only the main light and wall lights which were all very dim. Nice for atmosphere but no good for getting ready. (Practically dark!). I had to use my phone torch! Just needs a bright light on the dressing table or change the bulbs to dimmable so you have a choice of how light the room is. Also our room was next to the main boiler room so it was a little noisy but didn’t spoil our stay.

We had a garden room which had lovely views across the fields. It was a lovely room with a big, comfortable bed. Pub was lovely, good food and staff very friendly.

Upon further inspection the room was slightly tired and could do with some TLC, the carpet desperately needs replacing, there was a layer of dust on the kettle which clearly hadn't been touched in weeks. The walls were paper thin between 6 and 4 and I had to go and ask for assistance at 11:30pm as the person in the next-door room was on the phone and I could hear every word he was saying. Quite disappointing for the amount of money it cost for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was tasty, apart from the toast, was still bread. Also found the waitress to be on breakfast service quite lacking compared to the extremely friendly staff the night before, there was an empty restaurant and plates still hadn't been cleared from previous guests even though it didn't seem to be busy.

The Staff were very lovely and accommodating when arriving and during dinner. It was the launch of their new spring menu which was very tasty. The room was cosy and welcoming, would be perfect for a weekend get away.

Our room was noisy, you could hear the neighbours talking and their TV as well as the passing vehicles. People walking by looked into our room, so little privacy if unless you closed the curtains all day.

Great service, comfortable bed, nice size room, lovely bar and restaurant with a great view and breakfast was excellent.

I didn't realise until the morning that there was no milk in the room for tea. The wine prices for a pub are extortionate.

Great location for my work the next day. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was freshly cooked and very delicious.
