The area was alright if you was joined the 100's of party goers. But not suitable for people who are just going to theatre or concert as music was ongoing in pubs around until 4am in morning. It did say that the area was noisy but didnt think it was till that time and windows wasnt double glazed. Other then that Enjoyed it

It was a little noisy after midnight on the second floor due to a 0neighbouring nightclub but with windows closed and velvet curtains drawn it wasn't hard to get to sleep.

The location was great, close to night life, cafe's and restaurants, laundromat, railway and supermarkets. Access was okay night and day. Linen, toiletries, tea and coffee with kettle were all good. Adequate power points.

We loved the location, short walk from the train station and perfectly situated opposite the Grand Theatre. Great city location, nice bar and lovely staff. Room understandably small, shower might benefit from screen rather than curtain. We’d use The Wrens again for Theatre nights.

The cleanliness wasn’t great, there were 2 towels for 3 people and the shampoo was watered down. The shower head was crusty so water shot in all directions and the on/off button was missing from it. The bar the shower head was on was ill fitted and fell out at the top. I asked for more towels at the bar and a nice young lady happily got us some more but they were all old and one was very frayed.

The location is fantastic, and we knew to expect noise but couldn’t find the complimentary ear plugs in the room. Probably should’ve asked for some but felt we shouldn’t have to ask.

This isn't the hotel's fault, but the hotel is located next to nightclubs. I stayed on a Saturday night, and the loud music, along with people singing and talking outside the venues, continued all the way through to the morning. It made it very difficult to sleep.

The lounge area would benefit from a rug on the floor and a couple of comfy chairs, currently it is functional but not comfortable. The kitchen was ok but not really designed for use; we would have appreciated a toaster. The upstairs bedroom could be improved with a few touches of comfort.

Very clean & spacious. The main bedroom was lovely, and bathroom and toilet very nice and extremely clean. The social area was spacious and functional. The staff at the bar were super sweet and helpful, and the location is amazing.

Our quilt cover had the biggest rip in it. I woke up in the early hours & there was still a lot of noise downstairs… didn’t bother us but it might to some. They did provide ear plugs though.

It is an old quirky building & the room size was good. It was a basic room but there was a tea tray, kettle & to in the room. Comfy bed. Location for us was great.

I was aware of its busy location and it was noisy at night as mentioned by others but my booking was on a Thursday so the noise did not carry on too much.

Its central location and price , its very near to both the Arena and O2 Academy. Its situated in an area of qwerty Bars and Restaurants but not too far from the main shopping areas. A programme of renovations is underway and so a lot of the previous complaints have been addressed.
