Restaurant was a little expensive but the portions were larger than average

Facilities are really good, room was fantastic with a beautiful view, staff were very friendly and helpful, really enjoyed the lounge area for after dinner drinks, the treatments we got at the spa were amazing too.

Breakfast was lukewarm. Staff never checked food so no eggs served. They were too busy setting up for dinner!

The foyer is absolutely FREEZING ! The lovely decor is totally undermined by the shockingly cold environment. There is a heater over the main entrance which wasn’t on and apparently doesn’t work and there is no warmth at all in this area so check in was very unpleasant It spoils the whole experience on arrival - despite the beautiful living flame fire and seating area beside reception. Also the hotel pool area has been minimally updated in the last 10 years. Missing tiles in the pool have been filled with plaster that could have been done by a five year old. The showers need to be upgraded and the changing rooms refreshed as they are tired and depressing. These repairs are not costly and would make a huge difference

A bit dated, breakfast could be better, dog fee should be included in the price when booking. Noisy guests when walking through the corridor/hallway; there should be a stricter hotel policy to ensure a quite environment.

Good value for money, dogs allowed, friendly staff, lots of facilities (spa, sauna, pool, golf, gym...), good dinner experience

Room was spacious but in need of a renovation, paint peeling off ceiling, toilet roll holder handing off, but decent room.

Hospitality, front of house staff are excellent. The reception area , and bar are excellent. BFast was excellent.

Breakfast was not as one would expect for a four star hotel. Very busy on Saturday with queues.

Nice conformable rooms with plenty of space. Suite was good for family. Swimming pool and Sauna was nice

Hotel needs a little updating, furnishings looking a little tired and worn. Bed quite noisy. Pool area needing work. Tiles missing and changing rooms not very clean.

Only issue was our shower didn’t work and leaked with no hot water. We were moved but do think we should have been offered a complimentary drink or similar for our troubles as moving wasn’t particularly easy when we’d totally unpacked.

NO WELCOME COOKIE!! Key card system was down so had to be let in by staff every time you left the room. Could hear the noise from the gym next door in my room as it was one of the last ones on the corridor. Staff are great and very friendly.

The room was a little tired and the paintwork and carpets could do with a refresh. The furniture within the room was also a little tired and the wardrobe door was slightly broken but still operational. The pool hours for kids was a little restrictive especially when we tried to get for an early morning swim.

We liked the location and that there was a pool. Elaine on breakfast reception was memorable for her lovely bubbly, friendly and helpful personality. When the staff are happy it makes customers happy.

Tv was slightly out dated would be better to have a tv with some streaming services on it like Netflix etc. Shower seemed to be not working correctly, I was unable to change the flow of water and for some reason the water in the middle of the shower head was coming out like a tap and the water coming out the outer parts of the shower head were coming out in drops like rainfall which is obviously the correct way but it was coming out both ways simultaneously with no way of picking one or the other, on top of that the water in the middle was hot and the outer was cold, which wasn’t ideal but it was manageable. On the website it suggests the hotel does room service and it also says this on the phone and tv however there was no menu or way to see what to order, which I did message about to see if I could get one but there was no response. I am aware I probably could have went to reception to receive one but the whole point of room service is that I shouldn’t have to leave the room, plus by the time we got to reception it made more sense to just order the food and take it back ourselves, which we did. The last thing I would like to mention which is not the hotels fault of course but was the worst part of a good stay was that the people in the room upstairs were stomping about late into the night and you could hear every footstep as if an elephant was in the room above and was pacing up and down the room to tire itself out, so although the bed and room were amazing the sleep was not the best.

Great location, staff were really nice and helpful. Room was really nice and spacious with a good view. Would love to come back and try the spa facilities. Definitely more good things than bad about this place. Would recommend to others.

Lovely room, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The little cakes in the room on arrival were a nice touch, as was provision of face cloths as well as towels in the bathroom. Very friendly staff. Opportunity to use the leisure facilities (sadly we didn't have time on this visit) and a great breakfast with lots of options.

Only feedback is heating on in room made it too warm. No option to turn down. Also, mirror in room beside door and not beside a plug made it difficult to do hair.

Had dinner and breakfast and stayed in a superior room. All good. Staff all very friendly. Used facilities too. Excellent cocktail!
